“This was a great choice and very closeby to the Waterfront Skytrain station/convention center/cruise ships. On 2 serparate occaisons i received great service from Shereece... the pick your flight concept is one of the cleverest ive seen on a menu, full stop --- just a great idea.💯💯💯. My friend was delighted by all the vegan options on their menu. The big salad (s/o Elaine Bennes) is great, on par with the one at Red Wagon (which i also quite like) and their avocado toast is some of the most instagram-worthy in town (the strawberries, pommegranate seeds and rainbow radishes are very pretty). I definitely need to come back for the Everything Grilled Cheese 💯.”

“Excellent! So happy to find this place. Excellent food and service. The menu is fun and lively. I love all the "flights". We order eggs Benny which are done a little different on a Yorkshire pudding. Different. I prefer an English muffin. The HAM was insane. This is the best meat I have ever had on a Benny. Like WOW. Our server was Shereese and she was a gem. I love genuine service. Like ya it's your job, but we really do live in a time or extreame superficiality and Shereese was as genuine as the come. She gave me her opinion/suggestions on the food and inquiried about what we liked or didn't. I didn't love the Sangria... Not that it was bad, but I'm super picky with anything wine. Shareese was more than happy to switch my drink up, but it wasn't necessar. I appreciate the service tho!! The patio is cute and I enjoyed the view. U can see the water, the Convention Center... This is a great little spot and I'm so happy I found it. I highly recommend their brunch, their happy hour, and their fun drink menu. I will be back!!”

“The atmosphere and service were both excellent. However, I was quite disappointed with the brunch I ordered. On the other hand, the strawberry waffle was very good. The cream on top was especially impressive—smooth, rich, and pleasantly sweet. It paired wonderfully with the waffle and strawberries. The only drawback was that having strawberries as the only fruit topping felt a little monotonous. It would be even better if blueberries were added for more variety and flavor.”

“Had a nice dinner at Hard Bean, my first visit to their Waterfront location (had been to their Port Moody resto before). I had their vegan Farm Field Omelette ($25.95) which uses the plant-based Just Egg. It came with a side of fruit with watermelon, bananas, and strawberries. It was a good vegan omelette, although I would've liked a bit more ingredients/filling for the price. The veg was well cooked, and the corn and kale were nice additions. My friend had their Strawberry Loving Waffle ($17.95) and enjoyed it. Service was excellent, I forgot our server's name, but our water was topped up and we were checked on during our meal. It wasn't busy around 5:30-7:30 pm on a Tuesday, but we never felt rushed after paying our bill. I'm sure they're most busy in the mornings or at lunch, but breakfast/brunch items for dinner is never a wrong choice! They have a nice selection of vegan and gluten wise options for those with dietary restrictions as well. Convenient location at Waterfront and close to public transit. Would recommend and return in the future!”

“This place offers fairly dull brunch options with nothing particularly memorable. It seems like a quick stop for cruise tourists that you wouldn't bother returning to. The staff are friendly enough, but both the atmosphere and the food are bland and forgettable. Honestly, you'd find more flavour and better ambiance at an IHOP, and that's saying a lot.”
