“Slightly embarrassed to say the last time we went to Spence was when they were in their old location across from Teca. What was that, a decade ago? The current location is beautifully decorated - very relaxing. The staff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. I had the Hawaiian Tuna Special which was absolutely top tier. Seriously, Michelin star worthy. The wasabi pearls were a delicious and fun touch, the chili sauce on the zucchini was fantastic, and the vinegar in the rice was spot on. Roasted veggies were very good. Good portions, arranged aesthetically but not overdone. Corkage fee at $5 was exceedingly affordable. The pistachio gelato was the best I’ve ever had with a wonderful toasted note from the pistachio skins. The last time I had a pistachio gelato approaching this was outside the Globe Theater in London! We also had the coconut cream pie - light and delicious with a chewy flaky crust that was so good. We were wowed! New favorite restaurant and can’t wait to try the tasting menu. Hats off to the chef and the restaurant staff for a truly memorable experience.”

The food is exceptional and easily worthy of Michelin-level recognition. Every detail, from presentation to flavor, stands out. I’ll be taking my family there for Mother’s Day this Saturday night, and it has quickly become my go-to spot for special occasions.”

“One of the best restaurant meals I've had in years! Everyone in our party of three loved their meals. I had the seared halibut, which was amazing. We also had the oatmeal cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert. While large enough for four we managed to split between two of us, it was so good. I like that they are BYOB as well. Already have reservations for another dinner there!”

“Dined solo on a Wednesday night. Had the steamed mussels from the specials menu as starter and the Thai seafood curry for dinner. Both were well prepared. Seafood fresh and plump. Good flavors. Attentive and friendly service. Very pleasant night.”

Gina, Blaze, and of course Andy are one of a kind that will leave your tastebuds flabbergasted. Friendly portion sizes as well, you’ll be leaving full and satisfied. Call to make sure you can get a table ahead of time. My favorites are the lamb, duck or crab cakes.”
