“I had a great experience visiting The Fed Community. The atmosphere is truly one of a kind, blending historic charm with a modern, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. From the service to the overall attention to detail, everything felt thoughtfully curated. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our visit. What really stood out to me was how accommodating they were with my food allergies. They took the time to understand my restrictions, answered all of my questions, and ensured my meal was prepared safely, which made the entire experience feel comfortable and stress free. The food and drinks were excellent, with a menu that offers something for everyone while still feeling unique and elevated. It is the kind of place that is perfect for a night out, a special occasion, or even just a casual stop when you want something a little nicer. I would absolutely recommend The Fed Community to anyone in Michigan looking for a memorable dining experience, especially if you have dietary restrictions and want to feel taken care of.”
“I hosted my daughter's baby shower here and could not have asked for a more perfect event. From my inital contact with Shelby to the day of my event was seamless and everything I could have hoped for. Brea and Jessica were so thoughtful and attentive to all my guests. The food was delicious (Brunch) and a great variety for everyone. Kudos to the chef 👨🍳. I highly recommend The Fed for any occasion and will be a returning client.”
“Went here for my birthday dinner and had an absolutely amazing experience! I have celiac and truly felt safe and assured that the waiter and whole kitchen staff were on top of preventing any cross contamination. They can make almost anything gluten free so you don’t feel limited to a one or two things. The ahi tuna and jicama salad were amazing while my family got the chicken and burger and said the exact same thing. Great experience, amazing service, can’t recommend it enough!”
“Had a delightful time celebrating with family at The Fed Community. Cocktails & Mocktails were enjoyed upstairs while waiting for the table. Was a little disappointed we were sat in a corner of the basement bar and not upstairs, but the vibe was good and my elderly parent had easier access to the restroom, once traversing down the stairs. Our server was REALLY nice and informative when he came by. I do realize that Saturday is a busy night, however, we were not planning a 4 hour dining experience with extended interludes between courses. All the meals were devine and delicious, but you may want to study up on deboning a fish if you get the Fish Tacos. Once the entertainment started the basement bar was loud and crowded, this made it difficult to communicate with a parent that is hard of hearing. Thankfully the dessert and bill finally arrived so we could celebrate and depart shortly after. I do recommend this establishment concentrate a bit more attention to timing/pacing courses so the guests do not feel, at times, ignored. Overall had a great time and will return in the future. It will be even nicer once the patio is open when the warmer weather returns.”
“We had a brunch reservation for 8 people and had to put a deposit down on a credit card for $10 per person that would be refunded once the reservation was fulfilled. The table already had cloth napkins and silverware on top but some of the napkins already had stains on them. The beignets were suggested to us a starter and all of us dug into them with our silverware to eat them. This ended up being really messy since it was mostly powdered sugar and jelly. When they came to clear our table to make room for the main dishes, they left the sticky/powdery silverware for us to continue using. Our server did great at first explaining the drink menu but ended up confusing us once the drinks came out. Almost the entire table ordered the special mimosa they had for the day that cost $5 extra than the regular mimosas (we were fine with the price). She said since there's so many drinking, she would bring us two bottles and one of them would be for the special mimosa mix and the other would be for two other juices of our choice just to have variety. She brought a small little carafe that held about 8 oz of the special mimosa mix for the whole table and it barely was enough. When I asked for another glass of the special mimosa mix, she said it would cost the same amount even though we weren't ordering another bottle which made no sense. We ended up paying for one special mimosa plus the bottle and one regular mimosa plus the bottle instead of two special mimosas with the bottle. She also misheard one of the orders that was supposed to be a classic Benny but she ended up bringing out a classic breakfast instead. She fixed it right away for us and took the extra dish off our bill without us even asking which we appreciated. At the end of our meal, they brought out a small bowl of edible Oreo cookie dough with a candle in it for a birthday we were celebrating. It was very cute. The food tasted good and everything looked beautiful but the cleanliness and service were a bit underwhelming.”
