We can't wait to welcome you to The Lakehouse at Shawnigan! Our regular hours of operation are: Monday - Thursday 11 am to 9 pm Friday 11 am - 10 pm Saturday 10 am - 10 pm Sunday 10 am - 9 pm Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, as well as holiday Mondays, until 3 pm. Dinner entrees are served after 5 pm each day. We currently offer indoor dining reservations for all services. Walk-ins are always welcome. Large party reservations (6+) are available by phone only Patio dining is dependent on weather conditions. Please note the following policies regarding your reservation: Your table will be held for 15 minutes past your reservation time. If you expect to arrive later, please call us and we will do our best to hold your table until you arrive. Our online system allows for 2 hours between bookings to ensure you have time to enjoy your dining experience. If you expect to have an extended visit we can arrange this for you. By accepting your reservation, we plan to offer you the best table available on your arrival. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee our window tables. We are very proud to offer a view of Shawnigan Lake from every table.

“Showed up last minute on Mother’s Day. Obviously I should’ve made a reservation, my bad!! We just happen to be in the area and the hostess was very accommodating. There were six of us that we had an amazing time. Eggs Benedict was spectacular. I can’t wait to go back here with my wife.”
“Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here this evening. There were 7 of us and even though there were a lot of people there, including 2 pretty large groups, we never felt neglected by our server. The food was so good! I had the beef short rib stroganoff and it was amazing!!! but everyone’s meals looked good too. I loved all the local food and wines included on the menu too. Lovely cabin-on-the-lake atmosphere.”
“I love this restaurant!! My boyfriend and I came here for lunch the other day and it was sooo good!! We ordered the brisket sandwich and a burger. Both were amazing the brisket was very juicy and delicious and my boyfriend says the burger was probably one of the best he’s had from a restaurant! We also had dessert, he had the cheesecake and I had the caramel pudding, both were delicious. The service was also amazing. It looked like she was the only person serving at the time in a full restaurant but we were still treated with much kindness and prompt service! She is very good at her job! The atmosphere is also amazing, the log cabin style is very cozy and the view is great. The music was also really nice! Overall a great restaurant!”
“Awesome spot. First, the brisket sandwich was delicious. Second, the atmosphere was relaxing and beautiful, with great views of the lake. Great beer selection! The booths are so cute and there are multiple patios. The staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating, and let me sit at their dock for an hour before dining. 10/10 experience, thank you guys.”
