“This place is one of Frisco’s hidden treasures. I bring my son weekly to eat and hit golf balls. The food is top tier and the ambiance and theme are appreciated if you enjoy golf. I really enjoy the track man tech in the bays, since they give great feedback as a golfer. For food, drinks, or an excuse to swing a golf club in a climate controlled area, this place hits all the right notes.”

“I cannot recommend The Local Open enough. The owner is so welcoming and truly makes you feel at home from the moment you walk in. The service is superb, attentive and friendly without feeling rushed. The food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been there with my husband for both breakfast and dinner, and everything has been great, but the pizza was especially divine. I also had the most amazing strawberry mocktail, I might be going back just for that. Definitely a spot we’ll keep coming back to.”

“I’ve visited The Local Open in Prosper multiple times, and I’ve always loved the food, atmosphere, and service. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff consistently provide friendly, attentive service. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, but my recent brunch visit truly stood out. I ordered the French toast, and it was absolutely out of this world—easily the best French toast I’ve ever had. It was perfectly prepared, incredibly flavorful, and worth coming back for on its own. I highly recommend this place overall, but their French toast is an absolute must-try!”

“Such a cute spot for brunch and golf lovers alike! The Bananas Foster French toast was AMAZING! So rich! This place is a scratch kitchen, so everything is made to order. If you are a golfer, there are 5 golf simulator bays that you and up to three of your buddies can hit golf balls. We sat in the bar area, and our bartender/server was Audrey, who was super cool! This place is so good. My husband and I will definitely be back!”
