“The Aviary is all about cocktail presentation, The Office is all about the cocktail itself. Every drink is unique and very well balanced, they also have a massive offering of spirits that are hard to find. The environment is very intimate, dark and relaxed. Perfect for a couple or a maximum group of 4. The mixologists are more than happy to craft a drink for you, they are very knowledgeable and know exactly what to recommend. I 100% recommend this place, specifically for people that enjoy a unique drink. Other notes: -You should reserve online ahead of time, specifically for weekend visits. Online reservations give you the option of an a la carte experience, an hour experience (comes with 2 drinks/person and 2 small bites), or a tasting menu that includes a taste of their most popular small plates, cocktails, spirits and vintage collections -If you go during the week, you'll be able to get in without a reservation -They have small bites only, no full dinne. But dang are those snacks tasty! They have a pizza popcorn that will have you questioning reality. So good! -As of 2026, their menu did not include zero proof/NA options, but I'm sure they can craft a mocktail if you ask your bartender.”

“I would recommend. What sold me on this experience, is the bartender's ability to create a custom drink that perfectly fit my mood & taste buds at the time. I asked for Dealer's choice with a Mezcal, something fruit forward that balances well w/the smokey flavor of mezcal but not sweet. It was literally perfect. My partner's drink was awesome as well. They also provided a little birthday shor on the house. The space is small, intimate, and buzzing with conversation.”

“My wife and I had an absolutely fantastic time at The Office in Chicago. From the moment we sat down, the ambiance was perfect—intimate, sophisticated, and exactly the classic, upscale speakeasy vibe we were looking for. The glowing bar and copper countertop are just beautiful. The real highlight, however, was our bartender, Gabriel. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and a true professional. We felt so well taken care of. The drinks were second to none. My wife ordered an egg white gin drink, and it was absolutely perfect—beautifully crafted, perfectly balanced, and with a velvety smooth foam. I ordered a vodka drink, and Gabriel made it exactly to my liking, crisp and refreshing. You can tell when a bartender takes real pride in their craft, and Gabriel is a prime example. Thanks to him and the wonderful atmosphere, this was a 10/10 experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special night out with world-class cocktails!”

“Amazing speakeasy in the basement of the Aviary that's only accessible if you have a key, they have a large selection of liquids and can make you anything you'd like. We made a reservation for a Friday at 5:30p and it was filled up given the space is extremely small but the atmosphere is great. The service was top notch and I'd recommend the old fashioned that's made without simple syrup but uses strawberries and then they will make you anything you'd like based on your flavor preference. The steak tartar was unreal. If you like craft cocktails, this is a must try spot.”
