An intimate global spirits tasting room with classic cocktails and an emphasis on personalized service. (21+ only) We are a small space and cannot accommodate groups larger than five during our regular service, but feel free to email us if you would like information regarding a buyout of the entire twelve seat bar. Parties of six or more cannot be accommodated during regular service, and attempts to book multiple concurrent reservations will result in cancellation without additional notice up to and including at the time of the appointment itself. Deposits are refundable via Tock until 24h prior to your visit, after which they are no longer refundable. Please note that we offer a curated selection of cheeses and charcuterie to snack on but no longer serve a full dinner menu.
“Very good stuff. The agave sunomono rivals Victory's winging it for my favorite cocktail in the city (both of which are savory genius). They don't do shaken and they avoid frest citrus here (understandably, for logistical reasons) which precludes certain styles, but everything I tried here is elegant and well balanced. That said, because of this you might want to make sure you haven't inadvertently bombed out your pallet before arrival.”
“We had a two hour reservation via tock … maybe because it was Valentine’s Day? We spent the entire time enjoying ourselves at tdo. The drinks were some of the best we’ve ever had. We had fun sampling Dr Matt’s cabinet of curiosities then enjoyed an incredible ginger wasabi shot, a Salvador Dali llama, a charred Gibson, a sazerac and their take on an old fashioned along with the charcuterie board. We had walked past the bar many times, not realizing it was there. Customer service from Sam and Paul was far above what we receive at most places these days. The entire place only seats about 12 so we saw several folks get turned away- be sure to make a reservation and at the end of the evening don’t forget that your reservation deposit will reduce your bill and that some of that reservation deposit automatically goes to gratuity.”
“I really enjoyed this spot. The entrance can be a little hard to find at night since the door is tucked off to the side, but once you’re inside it’s such a great place. It’s small in a cozy, intimate way. The bartenders were fantastic and the drinks we tried were top tier. We were received with some champagne before ordering! The whole atmosphere was a solid 10 out of 10. I’d definitely come back.”
“This speakeasy is a fantastic spot with smooth jazz and excellent service. The cocktails are incredibly creative, blending spirits with oils and fresh vegetables in really unique ways. Seating is limited, so you’ll definitely want a reservation; wait times can run 1.5 hours or more without one. The bartender is a blast and gives great recommendations tailored to your taste and the flow of your evening. The bar also has quirky, charming touches that add to the experience. Highly recommend checking it out!!”
“Love the vibe in here, the extensive cocktail menu is exciting and it was really hard to choose what to get. Shared the grazing board with a few friends and it was pretty lackluster, felt stale and like stuff I could have pulled out of my fridge at home. We also felt it was pretty sparse considering the cost. We arrived there a little over an hour before closing and the bartender immediately greeted us with bubbles, we ordered drinks quickly though we waited a while for them. Bartender offered no help or guidance when asked what he recommended or to compare drinks. In the end we felt rushed out, lights on and check dropped 10 minutes before close and an almost immediate “go home” atmosphere. We’re not ones to linger long after a place closes but felt that this place portrays itself as more than your average dive bar and the attitude of the staff didn’t seem to match up.”
