“First time here. Atmosphere was nice with an outdoor patio you can bring your dog. Burger I ordered was tasty. Had several beers that were good.”
“We've driven by this place many times on the way to somewhere else, but finally stopped. It's so beautiful! The atmosphere is top notch and the food was delicious. Especially the poutine.”
“this was our favorite place for the beer weekend we did. The service was excellent. We sat outside and the beer was excellent. We also has some smoked old fashioned and I think they may have been the best we ever had. The owner came out at one point and offered to do a tour which we did. He really gave us the backstory and enjoyed the service. We had the duck nachos which is their most popular item on the menu.”
“Great beer, great service. The atmosphere is unique and interesting and inviting. But We need to talk about the elephant in the room. The food menu has gone from creative and fresh to stale and pedestrian. My party ordered the poutine and the olive burger. Both were lackluster at best. In fact the poutine looked like it came from a styrofoam clamshell I pulled out of the back of my fridge and nuked. Come for a beer. Don’t stay for the food.”
“Love this gem on beautiful Cherry Street! Stopped in today (July ‘25) to hang on the (dog-friendly!) patio and have a few bites. I enjoyed the catfish sandwich with fries and my friend had the nashville fried chicken sandwich with a side salad. The catfish sandwich with remoulade was very tangy & tasty and the slaw on the chickens sandwich added great taste and texture. I love this place and come in several times a year - 4 stars only because the prices are a bit high for essentially upscale pub food (although for a great product). I’ll be back again, just have to save a little to splurge on their patio!”
