“We had a great experience at The Waterbury. The food was amazing — we ordered the falafel, mushroom potstickers, and truffle pasta, and every dish was flavorful, clearly well prepared, and generous portions. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and I really appreciated how spacious it felt. Tables weren’t packed tightly together, which made the experience more relaxed and enjoyable. Service was also very well timed. The only downside was not being aware ahead of time of the 3% credit card surcharge, which would have been nice to know in advance. Parking can also be a bit confusing, but there are a few spots in the building, and our server mentioned that the parking lot across the street is available after 4:30 PM. Overall, excellent food, great ambiance, and solid service. We’d definitely come back and already told friends about it.”
“Waterbury House was the best apartment I have ever lived in. I’d like to give a shoutout to Colleen who was so helpful with us finding the perfect apartment and always was there to help with whatever question. I recently moved out and left behind several bottles of imported wine. Bravo cleaning services found this upon their cleaning and gave it to the complex to hold onto. I have never lived anywhere where that would be kept safe! Thank you Bravo cleaning and Matt for holding onto them! Matt with maintenance was always so attentive and prompt with everything. All the concierge staff here were so lovely. The apartments are very nice as well as the amenities and grounds always kept clean. I only moved due to a job relocation and if I could have, I would never move - truly a special place and community.”
“Just toured Waterbury House in Minneapolis and was blown away. Colleen was fantastic—warm, welcoming, and incredibly personable. The property is in an unbeatable location, steps from Lake Bde Maka Ska and great shops and dining (including the Waterbury House restaurant located on the main floor). The amenities are truly top-tier and stand out from anything else I’ve seen. Excited about the possibility of calling Waterbury House home!”
“Waterbury House is an absolutely amazing place to live. We lived here for the past 16 months and decided we love it so much that we wanted more space. So we moved to a larger apartment. These apartments have 5 ⭐️ finishes, amazing amenities plus a restaurant on the first floor/street level. Waterbury house is one of a kind in Minneapolis. Please check it out and join us as a new neighbor.”
“The dining experience was deplorable! Items were removed from the table, without permission. For example, a glass of wine, with approximately 1/4 of the original pour still in the glass, was removed before anyone could comment. A woman wanders the restaurant and with a quick maneuver, grabs items and whisks them away. You try to stop her, or call her out, and she's gone. When I brought up this concern to the server, she did not apologize, and stated she would correct the issue. Not until the bill arrived, did I realize she charged for the replacement glass. The same issue occurred for food. We had a discussion that if anyone sees her, they need to stop her before she could remove items. One at our table caught her and stated its polite to ask before removing items, and she quickly scattered away without comment. Furthermore, they make the assumption that everyone will pay by card, so they automatically include a 3%fee. When I shared with the server that I would pay by cash, she became very snippy and made a rude comment. All at the table were astounded. Therefore, this is an establishment "trying" to be a high end restaurant, and yet it falls short with the lack of professionals serving the customers. I would highly suggest training for the staff, as it is my professional opinion that the staff has had no training - whatsover on dining room etiquette. Finally, I've received better treatment at roadside diners, than at this enterprise, so I will not be returning, as I deserve courtesy and respect at all businesses.”
