Wolf's Ridge at Worthington Inn

“April was our waitress and she was wonderful! We brought our dog, Daisy to the patio and April was so sweet to bring her two bowls of water (one with ice!) and take great care of Daisy’s people, too. We had the squash blossom appetizer, the fish and chips, pork chops, and the flat iron. All food was very good. Most importantly, Daisy had a double smash burger- no onion and no bun. Not a crumb was left. We will definitely be back! (And Daisy may not let us leave.)”

“We were there for opening night & I loved seeing the complete renovated space in person! So much attention to detail! I recommend you take time to walk to the bar and lounge to take a look at the space even if you eat in the dining room. Everyone at our table enjoyed their food immensely - I had the cod loin dish, so good! don’t be afraid to be adventurous here it’s all so good!”

“Great spot to be in, loved the design. Food was decent for brunch, chicken and the egg and the burger. Nothing crazy but good. Coffee was good. Service a bit weird to start but everyone was nice and helpful. A few opening kinks to work through (I wish the curlers were available) but looking forward to going back.”

“We enjoy Wolf’s Ridge downtown, and we loved the Worthington Inn, but this place needs some work. The space itself is beautiful and well done, and I think fits Worthington well. Our server was friendly and kind, but the actual service was unacceptably slow. I do not blame her, I just don’t think things were coming out quickly, probably not her fault, but that doesn’t help us. The food was maybe the biggest letdown for me. I was recommended the burger as being popular and well-liked but I thought it was mediocre at best. Subjective maybe, but I wouldn’t order it again. Nobody in my party seemed enamored with their meal. It seems pretty uninspired compared with the space, location, branding, etc. I will compliment the cocktails. They were good and including some of them in happy hour, and not requiring you to sit at the bar for that pricing, was a great touch. My hope is that they will rethink several big choices and try again. It’s close to being a great spot, but Whitney House and Worthington Tavern will both receive our visits when we’re dining in Worthington before we’d prioritize a return to WRWI.”

“I, like many others, have been excited to see new life breathed back into the Worthington Inn. It was one of my favorite places to visit when I was much younger. We went today for brunch and the overall experience was underwhelming. While the Inn looks beautiful and still holds its historic charm, the food left so much to be desired. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and the eggs were nearly hard boiled, yolks completely stiff, whites were rubbery. The only saving grace was the IPA hollandaise. My partner had the full English Breakfast. While his eggs and toast were palatable, the bangers were chewy and the beans were mid and overall flavor was lacking. I will give good marks for presentation on the English Breakfast. Service was fine. What I found concerning is that when they bring your check back, there is a book to write a note. The majority of the previous notes called out the lackluster food and dining experience. I don’t know that I would leave that on the table.”
