“When I called in, there was a miscommunication between me and the server. In some places, their omakase can be done on table, and off the bar. I planned for a party of four, so I had asked if we can do omakase on a table. There might have been confusion, but when we arrived, turns out they had us reserved for à la carte instead—which is fine, but we wished we had participated in the omakase experience. But anyway, we ordered a ton of stuff. Hand-rolls, maki, u-maki, and the chirashi. There were specific ones that were really good! I love truffle, and the ones we ordered that consisted truffle were really good. I think one of them was the toro caviar truffle. Salmon hand roll is a classic, but I still loved it. We really liked the nigiri’s as well. Service did take a while. Honestly, I have no regrets in trying their à la carte menu!”

“I agree with others who state this is good for first timers!! Honestly the quality was a lot better than I expected and for $68 (late night special) im definitely coming back. For more seasoned omakase folks - I would still recommend for those times you are craving this but dont necessarily want to cough up $100+ for a meal. Service was meh but I didn’t really have crazy expectations. They would kind of rush through a bit. Fish was pretty good, although the rice felt a bit too grainy for me. At times the wasabi was WAY too strong and almost took me out. they Overall will be coming back!”

“If it’s your first omakase experience then you’ll like it. If you’ve had more expensive omakase before, then this one doesn’t really have the same experience factor. The quality of the fish was good but it was fast(less than 1h) and felt rushed. The sushi chef didn’t really explain anything other than state the obvious name of the fish. But it’s good for the price.”
