“A phenomenal restaurant with an exceptionally knowledgeable service staff. The food is made fresh and with a lot of locally sourced ingredients. I had the chopped cheese rice cakes that tasted phenomenal, the group I was with also had the flank steak and the black miso cod, I tasted both and they were exceptional. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fantastic and most of the plates are shareable. The desserts were also fantastic especially the creme brulee.”
“Myself and four others had brunch at Coa Restaurant on Sunday. Everything could not have been more perfect, the atmosphere was great, seating comfortable, service top tier and the food was amazing. Chef Eric created a highly-curated take on southern style breakfast foods. From biscuits and gravy, KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and Waffles, Hot Honey Butter Pancakes with a Yuzu cream, a breakfast sandwich (big enough to feed 2-3 people) and hash, we were each very pleased with our choices. My husband’s Espresso Martini and Negronis for two of the men in our party were all enjoyed immensely. We all highly recommend Coa brunch for a special occasion@”
“Fantastic upscale shared plates dinner with an Asian flair at the Backstreet Boys' and bro owned spot in Cocoa Beach. 4.5 stars Food 4.5 Atmosphere 4 Service 3 Return worthiness: yes Opentableable: no, on Tock Eve award: best shrimp cocktail Highlights: - Creativity: I've had fusion many times but the way this was done was thoughtful with excellent and unexpected additions. Sauces were off the chart delicious. - Ricotta toast: insanely thick and fluffy perfect pieces of bread topped with dollops of whipped ricotta and chili crisp. Crunchy, smooth, and a bit of spice. The appetizer I didn't know I needed in my life. 5 stars - Shrimp cocktail: probably the best I've had. 5 humongous shrimp perfectly cooked and chilled. Served with a Thai peanut satay sauce that was delectable. Didn't envision this combo and it worked so well. 5 stars - Lamp chips: 3 nice pieces my husband and friend enjoyed. 4.5 stars - Miso cod: solid version marinated as expected with 2 pieces plus bok choy. 4.5 stars - Umami fries: large plate of perfectly crispy curly fries with Japanese spices on top. 4 stars - Mozzarella sticks: long rectangles covered in a panko potato mix. Crunchy and gooey. Paired with ranch and guachong sauce. 4 stars - Artichokes: 3 large lightly fried pieces which looked like chicken wings. Could've been sliced into smaller bites. 3.75 stars - Dining room: modern bougie vibe. Long bar across the length of the restaurant with a few higher tables of in back (shaped like elongated guitar picks) and a banquettes. A living wall ceiling and artsy wooden touches. Midlights - Flank steak: large slices with not too much flavor. Most unremarkable item we had. 3 stars - Water service: need bigger glasses or for them to leave a carafe on the tables as they didn't come by to refill often enough. Being in a tropical location, hydration is important. - Drinks: cocktails sounded fancy but were just ok. Even their version of a smoked old fashion was lacking in the smoke reveal. Wine was also just ok - Waiter kept on calling us sir and ma'am making us feel old and bit uncomfortable Lowlights - Out of few things. their sole bakery item dessert in a brownie I was excited about and 2 out of 7 glasses of red wines”
“By far the best restaurant in cocoa beach. Great atmosphere, amazing service, incredible food. You absolutely must try the miso black cod and the Smashburger which is available after 8 PM, or anytime after 4 PM in the lounge. We went here four times to eat during our two week stay in Coco. Can't recommend it highly enough.”
“This is our new favorite restaurant in Cocoa Beach, hands down! The food was phenomenal and the drinks were on point! Beautiful atmosphere. Compliments to the extraordinary chef and team!! Everything was top notch--especially the unique take on beef tartar. The sesame creme brulee is one of the best deserts I've ever had. Two must orders! Don't overlook this place--its a must go! And for a unique drink: must try the Apothecary (the bartender who crafts these drinks is phenomenal). Every detail of Coa was on point--we left impressed and cant wait till our next visit.”
