“Came here for a friend’s birthday dinner and i cannot express how incredible our dining experience was!!!! Upon arrival, one of the servers gave my friend a happy birthday card & put rose petals around the table. All of our servers were amazing and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious!!!!! They even gave us complimentary champagne & dessert. The atmosphere here is incredible. We definitely plan on coming back when we’re back in San Diego!!!!”

“Absolutely enjoyed dining at Alexanders. We were seated immediately with an option of indoor or outdoor seating. I highly recommend outdoor seating. It has a lovely ambience. I was celebrating my birthday. When we arrived to the table, there was a handwritten birthday card. (I sadly forgot it, but will never forget the gesture!) I was wished a happy birthday by all employees that came by the table. Order the Bellini it is light and refreshing. We had the Brie appetizer which was well paired with roasted garlic, fig jam and bread. I ate the seafood ravioli. It had a great balance between the sauce and raviolis. For dessert, they came by with a candle and ice cream. We ordered the creme brûlée which was made excellently with a perfect glaze. Overall, the experience was fantastic. Thank you for making my birthday special.”

“I can't believe we hadn't been here before. We arrived late so it wasn't too busy. I loved the decor and how romantically lit it was. Our evening at Alexander's on 30th was an exquisite experience. Food, ambiance, service ALL 5 STARS! Wish I had taken photos of the food, but it looked so good I couldn't wait... Trust me, the food was amazing. I ordered their braised beef lasagna -- yummy. My husband ordered their cioppino and he loved it. Oh, and their garlic bread! It was sinfully tasty. Will definitely go back again!”

The atmosphere is lively yet polished, with a great mix of counter bar seating, indoor tables, patio seating, and even semi-private booth options that are perfect for a relaxed dinner. They offer a significant and worthwhile deal on Tuesday nights, which makes it even more appealing. The penne dish was especially good, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Overall, a solid spot for both casual and special nights out.”
