This is a restaurant within the Great Wolf Lodge resort in Scottsdale, a family-oriented destination with an indoor water park and multiple dining options. Reviews note a lively, kid-focused atmosphere and casual American fare, though prices skew high. It's geared toward families rather than intimate or fine dining.
“We recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge and overall my kids had a great time. There is a ton for families to do, and the water park keeps kids entertained for hours. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere is definitely exciting for younger children. However, there were a few concerns during our stay. The last two times, kids seem to get sick shortly afterward. I understand indoor water parks naturally expose kids to more germs, but I also wonder if the strong chemical smell and indoor environment contribute to it. The chlorine smell throughout the building can be overwhelming at times, especially near the water areas. Cleanliness could also use improvement. The girls’ bathroom near the water park had quite a bit of human hair on the floors during multiple visits throughout the day, which made the area feel less sanitary than expected for the price. Overall, it’s a fun experience and my children always enjoy themselves, but I do think the resort could improve on cleanliness and maintaining a more comfortable indoor environment for families. It will be quite some time before we go back cause of how the kids felt. Maybe this will reach management and things can change.”
“Was a great weekend getaway. Weather made it perfect for the outdoor pool (leaving wisconsin in January to go to the upper 70s). Staff was great. Prices on everything was as expected at a pool hotel. Had an overnight issue that caused an evacuation, there was no questions asked on a room refund for the night. The places was definitely designed for kids to enjoy themselves and thats exactly what happened on a daily basis. Definitely would stay there again if I were to return to the area!”
“I wanted to like this place more. The bucket something or another burger place was uhhh. It's not great. It would probably be cheaper to call 911 and say you're dying of starvation than to buy food there. And they had this weird dance thing in the middle of the front room, it was super loud even though people were no more than 20ft away from full stack speakers.... It was like being at a Metallica concert but louder. IYKYK. I covered my ears and it was still way too loud standing in the elevator. I feel bad for the shop with the popcorn machine and cotton-candy facing the rec room (?). Because it was too loud to even stand there. But! The atmosphere is GREAT and ohhhhh man, all of the amenities! Plus the rooms. Our room was so cool. My son loved the bunkbed with his own TV there, too. If it wasn't so loud and if the one burger bucket or w/e wasn't so ungodly expensive, I would give it a 8 out of 5 stars.”
“My husband and I take our kids here yearly. We buy both of our boys adventure passes each time we go. My sons told me they don't want to go climb the rock wall because the employee smelled putrid. Hygiene is apparently not a high priority. Otherwise, service is great, food is pricy, but not bad. The rooms are decorated nicely. Hygiene SHOULD NOT be an issue. Employees shouldn't be dirty and smelly. I don't expect a response, but I expect a change, because clearly their boss doesn't care about employee hygiene.”
“This is supposed to be a 4 star hotel, it's not. My local Comfort Inn is nicer. It's just a lot of money and the rooms are nothing to write home about. And even though you're already spending so much money, they try to suck money out of you any way they can. No free breakfast. Parking is extra, the lockers cost money and even if you spend money on the activities they still find ways to make you spend more money on it. Not to mention check-in is the worst!! It takes them 5-10+ minutes at least to check in each person. Also the water park is just nothing special and pretty small for a water park. They don't have enough seating because they have certain seats that you have to pay extra to use so they just sit there empty, and everything is just noisy everywhere. They have insanely loud and noisy music and dancing in the lobby at night. It's just not worth it especially if you're on a budget and you want to take your kids somewhere special. Just go to the beach or something. 2 things that were decent are the bed is pretty comfortable and the 2 big rides are fun. But overall still not worth it. It's way overpriced.”
