“Had an awesome experience at Barrel & Vine. Sat at the bar and immediately loved the atmosphere — the bourbon and wine selection behind the bar is seriously impressive and gives the place a great upscale feel without being pretentious. The bartenders were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about both the drink menu and food recommendations. Service was quick, conversational, and consistent the entire time I was there. The food was excellent as well. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the pierogi appetizer was absolutely outstanding — great flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything tasted fresh and made with care. You can tell this place takes pride in both the food and hospitality. Great drinks, great atmosphere, great service, and great food.”

“Such a nice suprise after an improvised walking tour of the historic sites along the Sag Canal on a greay rainy day. This warm, inviting bistro up front, booths in the back spot had us happily enjoying a full bodied red paired with a savory crab cake starter in no time. Staff on every level was kind and just attentive enough so we could enjoy ourselves away for our half day excursion. The portobello steak was well receieved and devoured with a smile, the Burrata salad with steak on the side was more than enough to warm us up.
