Beach Plum Farm is a working regenerative farm set on 62 acres in West Cape May, where the seasons shape everything we grow, cook, and share. Our fields are planted and tended with care, producing a wide range of vegetables, herbs, and fruit throughout the year, alongside pasture-raised heritage livestock.
We farm with a long-term view—building healthy soil, rotating crops, and raising animals humanely—so that each harvest is better than the last. What comes from the fields goes directly to our farm market, bakery, and kitchens, creating a true connection between the land and the table.
At the heart of this connection are our farm-to-table dinners, which serve as a living expression of the week’s harvest. These communal meals showcase what is growing in the fields at that moment and offer guests a deeper understanding of how the farm works, how the seasons shape the menu, and how thoughtful farming becomes memorable food. Each dinner is both a celebration of the harvest and a way to share the story of the land through cooking.
Guests are welcome to wander the gardens, visit the animals, and experience the quiet, steady rhythm of farm life. Whether joining us for a meal, visiting the market, or staying in one of our cottages, Beach Plum Farm offers an authentic look at regenerative farming and warm hospitality on the New Jersey coast.

What diners say
“We attended a wedding rehearsal dinner here, with passed hor d’eurves and family style multi course dinner. Parts of the dinner was from the farm itself. All of it delicious. Servers were informative and kind. Loved this friendly chicken who strolled through the pre dinner outside where we had cocktails!!”

“Our second time renting the Whaler’s cottage at BPF. It is a charming 3 bedroom cottage with plenty of common area rooms for those who wish to hang together or apart. A large spacious kitchen and dining area and a first floor bedroom made it perfect for our needs. The star of the show are the staff. They took such good care of us and were extremely helpful when the electricity cut out and we eventually had to move to another cottage. They couldn’t have been more accommodating and helpful. We lucked out and were able to attend the March Saturday dinner which was magnificent and magical. I highly recommend a weekend stay and dinner on the grounds. You won’t regret it.”

“We came here thinking it was a winery but it was what it says it is and its a farm lol. So glad we stopped in because it was beautiful. They had produce, knit knacks, gifts, homemade jams, pasta sauce and etc. You can also feed their pigs🥰. They also serve snack type of foods like hot dogs, German potato salad and etc.”

“I think this place is a bit overhyped. We didn’t eat here so that could be part of the issue too. We just stopped to look around and it was nice. However, there wasn’t really anything to do. It probably would’ve been more enjoyable if we had gotten something to eat and were hanging around outside. It was beautiful though.”

“I recently attended the Dinner Series and, unfortunately, left feeling extremely disappointed, especially given the high price point.
While the food itself was good, the overall value did not match the cost. The portions were quite small (the entrée consisted of only three small pieces of chicken), and requests for additional items, such as asparagus or extra extra chicken, were denied.
I also have a dairy allergy and made a point to call three times in advance to confirm accommodations. Although I was reassured each time, I still had to ask about ingredients with nearly every course, and staff frequently needed to check with the kitchen. Additionally, I felt like I was a burden having to ask. This made the experience feel less seamless than expected.
I also requested bread during the mea, since we were all still hungry, l and was told they would check, but I never received a follow-up.
The venue itself is beautiful and creates a great atmosphere; however, for the price, I expected a more attentive and accommodating experience. Overall, I would recommend saving your money unless you are primarily going for the ambiance and social scene rather than the dining experience.”
