“The quiche starter was impressively generous — good thing we shared it! Beautifully made and full of flavour. The real star of the meal, though, was the mashed potato — absolutely outstanding, as close to perfect as it gets. The other dishes were all solid and enjoyable. The restaurant is spacious and nicely laid out, though the acoustics mean that sound carries easily; with the background music kept low, it could feel a little awkward raising your voice within the group. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive throughout.”

“The space is quite big, but the seating arrangement feels poorly managed. Even when there are a few empty tables, the staff still ask solo customers to share tables with other solo guests, which feels a bit uncomfortable. With better use of space, it could be a much nicer experience.”

“We had high expectations for Oskar Maria, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The restaurant seems to try to offer a bit of everything (French/Italian/German?), which leads to a lack of clear focus. The place is obviously trendy, as it was quite crowded, and as a result, the service was noticeably slow and somewhat inattentive. As for the food, it was just okay — nothing particularly memorable. We ordered oysters that were surprisingly tiny, scallops that were overwhelmed by too much oil, and a chicken dish that was okay. Overall, Oskar Maria didn’t live up to the hype for us. It feels like the restaurant is spread too thin, and the quality suffers because of it. A disappointing visit given the buzz around the place.”

“Not a single remark on the menu and the food. Everything outstanding, the kitchen was flawless. 👌 The service was terrible. The waiter was very stressed out and rude. And very condescendant. Not up to the level and the price they ask for. I pity for the kitchen staff that suffers from this. Will not come back.”
