“My husband and I did their 7-course tasting menu & the additional wine pairing. Everything was wonderful, well executed and thoughtful. We wanted to enjoy as much seafood as we could while in Jacksonville (visiting from Petoskey, MI). Our server was extremely knowledgeable and fantastic. She truly made our already excellent experience all the better. This will be another don miss for us when we visit family.”
“Cute and intimate spot. We started with a dozen mixed oysters, caviar fries and added Osetra. Wine was 1/2 off and the bottle of blanc de blanc was an excellent choice. My husband had the scallop lamb gnocchi and I had lobster cannelloni. Everything was delicious. The crème brûlée was one of the best I’ve ever had. Our server Anna was sweet and knowledgeable. We will be back.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brine was the absolute perfect birthday lunch spot while I was visiting Jacksonville! My bestie picked it and it could not have been more fabulous. We started with the caviar service (sturgeon) and it was stunning. We asked for the accompaniments to be deconstructed, and they happily accommodated — jelled egg yolk, crème fraîche, chives, and crispy house-made French fries. It felt elevated but still fun and approachable. For my entrée, I had the salmon and farro salad with pickled white asparagus — fresh, bright, and beautifully balanced. My friends ordered the shrimp BLT and the lobster roll, and both were raving the entire time. We finished with the cheesecake bread pudding for dessert and it was a 10/10 indulgent moment. We had the pleasure of meeting Julie, the owner, and our server Kelly was absolutely amazing — warm, attentive, and genuinely excited about the food. You can feel the passion behind this place. They’ve only had their brick-and-mortar for about a year, and they are doing it right. Do yourself a favor and support this gem — Brine is absolutely fabulous.”
“While passing through Jacksonville, we decided to find a seafood restaurant, and Brine came up. What a discovery. From the moment we walked in, we found a small, cozy place with some of the best-trained and most attentive staff I’ve encountered in a long time. Everything was spectacular. The food was outstanding, the presentation was absolutely top-notch, and the service was impeccable from start to finish. This was, by far, one of the best culinary experiences I’ve had. It truly felt like a Michelin-level experience—refined, thoughtful, and perfectly executed. Bravo to the ownership for clearly investing time and care into both the food and staff training. Highly, highly recommend everyone to try this place. Absolutely perfect.”
“I really debated what score to put here. I made a reservation for myself and my brother for the tasting menu. It was both of our first experiences and we were very excited to try it all! Definitely more money than I’ve ever spent on one dining night but I was with it. When making the reservation it had a small pre visit questionnaire that I was happy to fill out. It asked about celebrations, food specific needs, or accommodation needs. I explained we were there to celebrate my promotion and I added that I have very wide hips and would prefer a chair with no arms as they can be very uncomfortable for me. 2 days later we show up for our res and there’s two armed chairs. I literally cannot even fit in it. I’m partially blocking the entrance to the kitchen. My seat is kicked multiple times because I’m in the way and unable to scoot back in my chair to scoot in under the table. The food is delicious but by the third course I’m so uncomfortable that I make a trip to the bathroom just to feel some relief in my legs. All this to say - food was wonderful and some of the best I’ve had in my life but I’ll never return because it feels obvious I’m not welcome there. :( I hope this will encourage them to think of and consider us larger people in the world with their renovation and get some chairs with nothing obstructing the actual seat. It would make a world of difference in the experience had.”
