“This restaurant feels so special. It’s almost like eating at someone’s house. Well designed with warm light and artworks on the walk in an old historical House. The waitress was overly welcoming and friendly, great service. The burger was juicy and medium as ordered. Polenta could have been a bit more salty unless you combine it with the mushrooms which were delicious. Highly recommend Brydge.”
“Have you ever had food that was so good it made you physically want to hurt someone? Or how about an out of body spiritual experience? Well this place will have you wanting to smash your spouse through the window and thanking God you have taste buds. This was maybe one of the best meals my husband and I have ever had. Starting with what you would think was a simple butter flight tasting. Three flavors: lavender, grass fed, and anchovies. My mind was blown away with how elegant and tasteful these butters were! The bread was so soft, warm, and complimented the butter so wonderfully. Then we had a beet salad. Again. I had to stop myself from slapping my husband across his face. Lastly for my main meal I had their burger. This is where we met God and he slapped me in MYA FACE with how amazing this burger was. All together best meal ever. Mya the server was a peach and so kind and friendly. If you’re in the area you must stop in!!”
“For our first night in Cambria we had a wonderful dinner at Brydge. The restaurant is in a lovely old wooden home, dark and intimate but friendly. We had delicious olive oil potatoes with a cheesy cream plus mushrooms with polenta which was really good. We ordered the dinner for 2 which included a delicious steak with butter and blue cheese plus homemade bread and salad. Service was kind and attentive and I would recommend anyone to check out Brydge while in Cambria.”
“My husband and I had the heirloom polenta with mushroom and prime ribeye with blue cheese (Blue cheese was barely sharp and not so pungent, it's delicious!) Would come back again. Our service was friendly and very busy, though we gather she was the only server through the evening, but handled the entirety to the best. It's in a historic house inside are wall art with mix of dimensional control of shadows, calming ambiance.”
“The food was very good, but the service definitely left something to be desired. The roast chicken was a stand out. The small dishes were well prepared and tasty. The butter trio was great! We found one dish that was apparently new to the menu to be a little off (carrots with lavender and honey), but really enjoyed the cuisine. The experience wasn't overall bad, but it's important you come with the right expectations. This is a small local restaurant that cares more about keeping it small and high quality than efficiency. Once we slowed down and thought more of it as dinner at a friend's house, it went pretty well. Most tables around us had a wrong dish dropped off or had to wait 20+ minutes for their server to seat them or bring water. We ended up waiting almost 1 hour for our food to come after sitting down. We had to ask multiple times for missing silverware or for the check. Service was friendly, but felt "all over the place".”
