We are located across the Lonsdale Quay Market at the beautiful Shipyards District. Brunch, served everyday, has always been our signature specialty. Now at the North Shore, we are excited to be offering a refined Dinner Experience Thursday to Saturday evenings, and a delightfully curated Afternoon High Tea every Sunday. Our team is passionate about making everything from scratch within our own kitchen, whether it's sausage, bacon, cured salmon, croissant, pastry, bread, sauce, syrups, even infused-alcohol, everything we can. Taste the difference next time you visit us!
“what a PERFECT BRUNCH SPOT — every dish, from the savoury to the sweet, was so so yummy. the cornflakes babka french toast is only available on the weekends but it’s actually a masterpiece. the golden cornflake exterior has such a freshly fried crisp and crunch, the inside babka bread was steaming and SO soft and so fluffy, and there were crunchy nuts sprinkled on top of the very creamy, addicting, slightly bitter espresso cream & tart berry jam; the medley of textures and flavours was just bonkers. the flakes had a hint of a salty flavour, but the inside was oozing with fudgy, rich, super sweet and indulgent hazelnutty chocolate. the caramelized bananas were also super warm and mushy, with a super deep and rich sweetness. ALSO GET THE POTATO ROSTI because the outside was so crispy but the POTATO INSIDE WAS SO CREAMY and the potato flavour went so so so well with the tangy, mayo-y aioli.”
“Found out it serves high tea when we picked up birthday cake for a friend. Portion is quite a lot for high tea. Menu is interesting with Hong Kong elements. Scones: baked good but not served clotted cream but whipped cream, butter and jam. Savoury: egg sandwich is a big too big and normally bite sized. Curry beef puff and quiche taste good. Sweets: mango pomelo puff is creamy. Coffee milk tea cheesecake is fair. We all need to take some home. High tea is only available on Sundays!”
“I recently visited Catch 122 in Lower Lonsdale and was pleasantly surprised by their gluten free options. I ordered the burger wrapped in lettuce which was fresh, flavorful, and a great alternative since they currently offer gluten free bread but not a gluten free burger bun. The burger itself was juicy and well seasoned, and the lettuce wrap held up surprisingly well. What really stood out was that they also had two gluten free cookies available in their pastry display, which is always a nice touch for anyone looking for a gluten free treat with their coffee. While the gluten free menu isn't extensive, it's clear that they make an effort to accommodate dietary restrictions. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful when answering questions about gluten free options. Combined with the great Shipyards location and welcoming atmosphere, Catch 122 is a solid choice for North Vancouver.”
“recently tried this brunch and lunch spot and overall had a really great experience. The food quality is definitely above average , everything tasted fresh, well-prepared, and thoughtfully put together. Also the Korean fusion options are interesting too. The atmosphere is one of the highlights. It has a warm, and cozy vibe that makes it perfect for a relaxed brunch or a casual lunch with friends or family. On top of that, the service was excellent friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If I had to point out one downside, it would be that some of the dishes leaned a bit on the oily side. It didn’t ruin the meal, but it’s something they could improve to make the food even better. Overall, it’s a lovely spot with great energy, good quality food, and standout service. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you value atmosphere and hospitality.”
“Our experience overall was excellent. The only negative was the sign-in process to get a table. I won’t go into details as I see it as a one-off human error and not something that should define the restaurant. The layout is a bit tight, but I’d call it intimate. The décor hits a bistro-rustic vibe that’s very warm and pleasant. From the moment we were seated onward, everything was first-rate. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and made the experience easy and relaxed. The food was very good and creative in how it refreshed classic dishes. The steak and eggs, for example, were served on a house made deep-fried rice patty, adding a really nice crunch to what’s usually a softer plate. A fun, thoughtful twist that worked extremely well. We were seated at the bar, which turned out to be a bonus. Watching the baristas and bartenders work, from coffee to cocktails, was entertaining and added to the atmosphere. Definitely recommend, just be prepared for the table wait process.”
