“Friendly customer service and DELICIOUS food! I grew up in Taiwan as a child and it was so great to have some of my favorite foods again, they tasted very authentic. Got the chance to chat with the owner which made the experience even better. A must stop whether you’ve had Taiwanese food before or not! My group got the dumplings, xiao long bao, smacked cucumber, Taiwanese beef noodle soup, Taiwanese fried chicken, and mango mochi ice cream. Everything we got was delicious! Especially the dumplings and beef noodle soup.”

“Space was a little off putting, I wish restaurants would realize you can't be doing" server" duties in a dinning room. It's gives off a weird vibe that being said our small plates orders were very good . Server was nice, but not knowledgeable she had to go ask somebody else several questions I asked her. The mains were just okay pork fried rice somehow did not turn out tasty I don't think the pork was cooked down well enough to render a grease which is the part of fried rice that we usually love is greasy fried rice it was just kind of bland.”

“Went in on a Saturday in winter at 730 without a reservation and it was busy. We waited about 15 mins for a table and were able to order a drink to drink in the little waiting area. Service was great, and it’s a cute little space. We sat at the bar and ordered a cocktail, the oolong sling and a red Herrington. Both were tasty. We then ordered a bar each, the pork belly and the karage. The pork belly bao was a little flavorless, but the karage one was really tasty with its toppings and sauce. We then ordered xiao long bao dumplings and they were okay. A little dry on the outside. We then ordered La-Ba-Ph (pork belly/rice) and the kung pao tofu. Both mains were served with brown rice, and I just don’t think brown rice did these sauces and meals justice. It is nutty and takes away from the flavor, the rice is supposed to support the flavors not overpower it. Unfortunately we didn’t love these. Ordered a bottle of sake to finish and it was an overall nice experience but for the price point I expected more. For 2 people, 2 cocktails, 2 bao and dumplings to share and a main each it was $200 which for casual Asian fusion dining seemed expensive.”

“Great place for some Taiwanese inspired foods. Felt no rush from servers, very relaxed place, good for catching up and long conversations. It was easy enough to find close street parking on a weekday and they had a small lot too. The food itself was flavorful and delicious. Drinks were creative and fun. Would def go back!”

“Overall our visit here was OK. The pros: Great drink menu Very friendly service Funky branding Smacked cucumbers and wood ears Taiwanese fried chicken Room for growth: The dan dan noodles made me sad. I’ve had so many excellent experiences that maybe my standards on this dish were too high? I don’t know, but the pork tasted gamey and there wasn’t a nutty richness in the sauce. The sauce was actually more of a broth which can obviously vary place to place, but I wasn’t getting the mustard greens or spiciness that I’ve come to expect. Chicken Basil dumplings. I don’t know what on the ingredient list could have caused it, but on my first bite into one of the dumplings I bit down on something hard. Not crunchy, but like bone hard. I ended up swallowing because basic table manners, but it put me off trying another.”
