“We had a great time on our first visit to Mineral Lounge. We had a few unique cocktails along with an assortment of small plates. Everything was delicious and the service was top notch. It was an easy walk afterwards to a show at Kauffman.”

“I wanted to offer a public review of a place in the crossroads we went to last night. If you haven't been to #MineralLounge in the kc crossroads, I highly recommend it. We attended a show at Kauffman center for performing arts. We walked to nearby establishment to wait out the traffic and have dessert and beverages for my friends birthday. I was able to reserve a table and preplan with flexibility after our show. The reservation process was seamless and specific with accommodation for special occasion, special requests/ needs and food allergies. The ambiance was amazing, the food was gourmet and the service was a gift. I hate to share this new secret and see it get too crowded but id love to see this place stick around and thrive. We were amazed it wasnt more crowded. Id definitely recommend an after show snack. Its too close to the venue not to consider this option. They made my friends birthday very special. 🥰”

“Absolutely amazing. KC doesn’t have many wine bars and I finally feel that I have found a place that truly has invested in its collection. You can try wines from all over the world. Their small plates are delicious as well. Service was excellent. Do not pass this place up. A great start to our date night!”

“We have been long-time customers of Tannin (since the JP days!) and have been wanting to try Mineral Lounge for months. We stopped in recently after a disappointing dinner experience at a nearby restaurant, and we were so glad we did. Our time spent at Mineral Lounge redeemed our evening out! We were greeted immediately and sat in a lovely corner of the lounge with views of the Kauffman Center. Jess was our server, and she was friendly and helpful with her wine recommendations. We ordered our favorite--the Tannin fudge stuffed peanut butter cookie, and its simplicity and familiarity was the warm welcome we needed. We also enjoyed the goat cheese + honey ice cream. Deliously tangy, sweet, and creamy. We will definitely be back soon to try more from their menu.”

“Atmosphere: The ambience has low lighting with table lamps and other ambient lighting throughout the restaurant. There is a bar, high and low tops, and lounge seating with sofas and tables for dining. It is very upscale and rather cozy, with only one restroom option, so that can be awkward. Service: The service was very attentive and answered all questions regarding the food and wine menu. Food & Drinks: It was restaurant week, so the menu was limited; however, the food and wine were impeccable. The desserts were divine. Value: Pricing is mid-to-high range; however, the food was worth the cost. Unless you have ample money, this place is especially suited for special occasions. Room for Improvement: The lighting was so dark that it made reading the menu quite a challenge. Having dimmed overhead lighting would be helpful. Final Thoughts: Mineral Lounge delivers an elegant and memorable dining experience. The combination of a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere, attentive service, and exceptional food makes it a standout choice for celebrations or a special night out. While the dim lighting may pose a minor inconvenience, it adds to the intimate feel of the space. Overall, Mineral Lounge is a refined and indulgent destination that’s well worth the visit for anyone seeking high-quality cuisine and a warm, upscale setting.”
