J. Alexander's Annapolis

“Best steak ever! We’ve been to J. Alexander in Boca Raton where we’re from and seeing these reviews broke my heart. This is our favorite restaurant. We had to go and see for ourselves. The service and the food are five star. I got the NY Strip and my husband got the penne with chicken. Our adorable server was incredible. We LOVED our meals. Probably the best Strip I’ve had in my life. 16 gigantic ounces. Yummm! The cab is Quilt-also a 5 star wine!”

“Very nice experience. We had a pretty sizable party of about 20 people, and the staff handled everything perfectly. Dishes came out quickly, and everything was hot and delicious. And good portions for the price. The ambiance was quiet, as it was a Tuesday lunch hour, and I look forward to returning soon.”

“We had a great visit today for lunch. From the hostess to the server to the manager stopping by the table - the staff was outstanding! Now let's talk about the food...starters were Hong Kong Shrimp and Steak Rolls (think Philly cheesesteak and an egg roll had a fat baby!). The portion sizes are large and plenty t share. The value for $$ - especially for the shrimp - was excellent. Then we shared a cajun salmon Caesar salad - again a portion big enough to share. Fresh and crisp romaine and a nice dressing. The service was attentive, but not interruptive. The atmosphere was energetic, but not chaotic. We will definitely be back to get their Happy Hour deals!”

“A lovely quiet fine dining restaurant with excellent food and great service. The steak was cooked perfectly to medium that tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The calamari was incredibly fresh and crispy, easily one of the best I’ve had in a while. The atmosphere is calm, elegant, and perfect for a formal dinner or special occasion. Definitely a must try spot, and I’ll be coming back soon to enjoy more of their delicious dishes !!!!!!!!!”

“I visited a nearby upscale restaurant in Annapolis today, and the food was quite good. They offered valet parking, so we parked right after arriving. I started with a cherry lemon drop. Then, I had the New England clam chowder. I also tried the chef salad and the chicken breast. Overall, the food was enjoyable. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is perfectly dimly lit for a date night. I recommend this place and suggest checking the dress code before going. Service from all staff members was excellent.”
