Sfoglina - Rosslyn

“Came on a tuesday night after work and it was the PERFECT way to unwind. The drinks are amazing, specifically the Hugo Spritz and the banana pepper martini. We ordered the burrata, caesar salad and garlic bread as appetizers and they were SO good, especially the burrata. Everyone ordered different mains and after having bites of all of them I can safely say there is not a bad dish here. The pasta is so fresh and the fish is so fresh. We ended the night with almost every dessert and they were fantastic. The chef even sent us over some complimentary chocolate cake which was so thoughtful. This is definitely the best Italian food in the area!”

I even mentioned to my partner at the beginning when we were getting seated that I lost my hand sanitizer, and the host came over and said he had heard and offered us some of his! “April 2026: Sfoglina is a great Italian restaurant. They have a number of locations. I go to their Rosslyn location. They make their pasta by hand daily in their pasta room. Both their food and service has always been very good. Plus they have nice gluten free options. They have gluten free pasta so many of their pasta dishes can be made gluten free by using the gluten free pasta. Their simply grilled food is also gluten free. And they always have at least one gluten free dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant. Sfoglina is located on the lobby level of a tall building. Their bar area has seats in the atrium portion of the building, as well as seats inside the restaurant. I like the atrium portion because it is not as loud and noisy as the main restaurant. And if you are looking for an event space with a real WOW factor, check out Sfoglina's rooftop. The rooftop of this building has a view of the river and DC monuments. It's one of the best views I have ever seen. It's amazing. AND I like it that there is a portion that is inside as well as a portion that is outside. So even if it rains you can still have your event on the rooftop. And if it's a really hot and humid day, your guests can stay in the air conditioned interior. I attach a few photos so you can see for yourself. They will remodel the rooftop so it will look a bit different in a few months but you still get the idea. The rooftop is only available for private events. The restaurant is well worth the visit!”

“My husband and I had the best dinner here! Order some bread to start, it’s crispy on the outside but so soft on the inside. Then the cozy pasta dishes and vanilla gelato at the end were perfection. Such a delicious meal and for a reasonable price as well. The service was also very attentive and everyone was so nice and efficient. We both raved the whole way home that we were so satisfied with our dinner experience.”

She remembered dietary restrictions from the reservation, split our salad without us asking, and brought us complimentary gelato with our dessert. Service like this will bring us back! The food was also very tasty with quite a few vegetarian options. We will certainly be back soon!”
