“Without question the best German food I’ve ever had (including even in Germany). We shared the Schweinshaxe and honestly you could split it 3 or 4 ways . It’s absolutely massive . The service was top notch. Loved our waiter, and the manager came out to tell us how to make their amazing sauerkraut . We came during the World Cup , and it was such an amazing experience.”

“We visited Der Biergarten on a quiet Sunday afternoon and decided to sit outside, as it was peaceful on the patio while the inside was fairly busy. The service was excellent - friendly, attentive, and always available when needed without being intrusive. One of the highlights was the impressive selection of German beers and ciders. We felt it was only right to order a Stein (1-liter beer), and it certainly did not disappoint when it arrived. It was the perfect accompaniment to our meal. For food, we ordered the Wurstplatten (sausage plate) and the Hahnchenschnitzel (chicken schnitzel), and we were absolutely blown away by the flavors. The sauerkraut was delectable, full of flavor and perfectly prepared, while the chicken schnitzel was wonderfully juicy and cooked to perfection. I was especially thrilled to find authentic German potato salad on the plate and it brought back great memories. What an absolute treat. To finish, we shared an Apfelstrudel for dessert, and I can highly recommend it. It was the perfect sweet ending to an outstanding meal. We will definitely be back. Der Biergarten is a true German slice of heaven in the heart of Atlanta, offering authentic food, great drinks, and a welcoming atmosphere.”

“We came during a con that was hit by a boil warning for water in Atlanta. They let us have canned soda at no cost for refills and some appetizers for the long wait (1+ hour) that we expected given the location and convention attendees from Momocon. Server was excellent and nice. Restaurant ran late past hours to accommodate folks. Food was also really good! Really recommend!”

“Nothing to write home about. Typical german pub/bar. Slow service, mediocre food. Ordered the half chicken with fries, took a while to come out (albeit during a fifa game) and then chicken wasn’t really hot, tasted overcooked. Drink we ordered never made it out, so I cancelled it after meal arrived. Wouldn’t try it again.”
