“Great vibe. Food was excellent. Great "extras" with the butter and the knife selection. Fast service. Dinner was delicious Drinks very good.”
“What a beautiful restaurant! We went mid-afternoon and had no trouble parking right outside the restaurant. This restaurant is very classy and the service is top notch! I got the classic burger and fries and it was absolutely delicious. I was going to ask for salt because it wasn't on the table, but Chef Jay knows what he's doing because every bite was so flavorful and perfect. I will definitely return!”
“My family and I visited Downtown for a couple of birthdays. The restaurant’s ambiance creates a serene atmosphere, making it an ideal setting for pleasant conversations. The diverse menu caters to all tastes, offering a wide range of flavors. I highly recommend the New York Strip Steak with Peppercorn Sauce and Risotto. The staff is incredibly accommodating and goes above and beyond to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience for each guest.”
“Downtown by Jay Pisculli is hands down our favorite go-to spot. From the moment you walk in, the modern ambiance sets the tone sleek, stylish, and effortlessly cool while still feeling warm and welcoming. The vibe is over-chill yet elevated, the kind of place that works just as perfectly for a casual night out as it does for a special occasion. It strikes that rare balance of being refined without ever feeling pretentious. One of the standout touches is how personal the experience feels. On occasion, Chef Jay Pisculli himself will come by the tables, checking in and connecting with guests, which adds an authentic, thoughtful layer that you don’t find everywhere. The food is consistently top-notch elevated, beautifully executed, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients and serious attention to detail. Every dish feels intentional and memorable. The service is equally impressive, especially at the bar. The bartenders are knowledgeable, friendly, and dialed in, delivering excellent drinks with a level of care and professionalism that elevates the entire experience.”
“Was excited to try this restaurant for Restaurant Week! Overall I found everything lacking salt and pepper. Easily fixed? No! 1st course I paid extra for the Pozole Soup. Flat, very mild spice. I was confused as what to do with the sprig of cilantro. Was I supposed to cut it up? 1 bite? I must say I pulled the leafs off and did really enjoy the few bites with cilantro in it! 2nd course Pork Katsu. Again flat and no depth to the flavor. The sauce helped but need more. The cucumber salad had a nice flavor. But again with the whole herb? 3rd course Key Lime Torte. I couldn't tast lime anywhere in this dish. I also ordered their Lavender Leonade, non-alcoholic drink. Now this had flavor, to much! Straight Lavender flavor, over powering. The bar tender did remove the drink from my tab. Service was decent, busy, but to be expected on a Thursday night during during the event.”
