“Staff was so nice. Courtney was phenomenal. (Try his signature drink, thank me later) We were there for my birthday. We ordered dessert first ( because its the best part, and I can take a to-go box home). Desserts we delicious! Blackened chicken Alfredo was a hit! I heard the steak and burger were good also. We had such a nice time. The atmosphere was comfortable. We will definitely be back”
“Our server, Mr. John, was the sweetest ever. He had perfect customer service and he even took a picture with me. He was the most genuine server my family has ever had with requests, refills, manners, and kind words. He had one on one conversations with us and when he found out about my graduation accomplishments, he personally got me the best dessert of the house. Not only was our experience with him perfect, but the food was absolutely outstanding! 11/10 would recommend!”
“Visit #2 · Bar seating · Bacon Jam Burger - The tops — The Bacon Jam Burger is the real deal — juicy enough to need extra napkins, which is exactly how a burger should be judged. The bacon is genuinely crispy (a rarity that deserves its own award), and the jam adds a sweetness that makes everything better without turning it into dessert. The ambiance doesn't try too hard either, which in the restaurant world is basically a superpower. - The Meh — Nothing noteworthy to complain about this visit — and trust us, we were looking. A second visit with zero grievances is either a miracle or a sign we need to order more things to find the weak spots. We'll be back with a bigger appetite and higher expectations. The people — Tyler at the bar deserves a raise, a trophy, or at minimum a very good tip. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without performing. The kind of service that makes you forget you're paying restaurant prices.”
“We had the best Valentine’s Day night dinner. We got in no problem(on the busiest night of the year) with reservations. Greeted immediately with the friendliest face Courtney who provided excellent service all night. I’m pretty sure he’s my new favorite person. We started out with drinks. Stuffed in house blue cheese olives need I say more. We chose the ahi tuna for an appetizer. It was absolutely amazing, fresh, crisp vegetables, great sauces, and we were fighting over the last bite. I tried the Cajun seafood fettuccini. The scallops, and shrimp cooked to perfection. I loved the added sausage, peppers and Cajun flavor. It was so good I ate my leftovers for breakfast this morning. My boyfriend had the chicken marsala. One of his favorites, and he was scraping the plate licking the fork. We didn’t have room for dessert, but I have had the warm butter cake before. It’s the best!Lighter to me than a normal cake, vanilla bean ice cream, fresh strawberries. I should have started with it. Everything at Village Tavern is always fresh tasting, served timely, and truly just an all over wonderful experience. I can’t wait to go back and try the Brunch, and of course I will now ask for Courtney every time!🩵”
“Our server Natasha was great! She was very helpful with recommendations of both food items and drink selection. She was also very attentive, making sure we were not needing for anything. Butter cake looked really good but we were too full. Maybe getting an appetizer and sharing a meal to get to dessert is the way to go. Asking for Natasha is a must though. The manager was very present to make sure everything was running smoothly and that all guests were taken care of promptly, I could tell that he was very good at his job as well. Lastly the atmosphere was very nice and it seemed like a good place to visit for a casual meal or to celebrate a special occasion.”
