“We had an intimate wedding celebration (ceremony & dinner) in the private dining room at Rochambeau on 1/23/26. Our wedding was PERFECT, Dylan was incredibly responsive and so helpful over the months that we were planning our wedding. The space worked so perfectly for hosting our small ceremony and dinner for around 30 people. The food was FABULOUS, our guests all raved about how delicious the food was. A restaurant wedding is just the way to go, especially when you have a smaller guest list! The wait staff and bartender were so lovely and we felt extremely well taken care of. I'm so thankful for the whole team at Rochambeau for being so immensely helpful in coordinating and hosting our wedding celebration.”

“This place is a must …. The food was so tasty let me start the bread was soft and crispy on the outside and the salad was delicious and I hate salads but this one was a win. I had the lemon berry pancakes and they wer delicious soft and amazing flavors. Also had the steak and fritz and this steak was the best steak I’ve had in Boston juicy with that amazing tast that u want and the whole thing was just cooked perfectly. Amazing place great views and decors and good clean place. Service was good guy wasn’t as attentive as u would want in a nice place like this but the food towers over everything. STEAK STEAK STEAK STEAK… best steak in BOSTON…”

“Rochambeau absolutely exceeded every expectation—this was hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Boston. From the moment we sat down, everything was flawless. The food was next level—the escargot was rich and flavorful, and the cassoulet as our dinner was hearty, comforting, and perfectly executed. The sea bass was cooked to perfection (buttery, tender, and full of flavor), and the crème brûlée was the perfect sweet finish with that satisfying crisp top. The craft cocktails were just as impressive—creative, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best drinks we’ve had in a while. Grant (management) even made us specialty dessert cocktails that were incredible and such a fun touch to end the meal. Service made the night even better. Miguel was incredibly attentive—he made sure every detail was taken care of. Becca from management was fantastic, checking in and making us feel genuinely taken care of the entire night. Everything from the ambiance to the food, drinks, and service was a 10/10. This is a MUST GO if you’re in Boston—you won’t regret it.”

“How have I never been to Rochambeau!?! Well I have made it thanks to restaurant week. The space has two level, but we were seated on the main level in a cozy booth. The hostess were welcoming even able to seat us earlier than our reservation. Our server Sara(h) was great, she was able to answer any questions we had or was able to see what beverage could be made to our liking. Now for the food..... we opted to go with their prefix menu for $37. Warm baguette and lightly toss lettuce in vinegette. You had the choice of mussels or steak with frites (unlimited). Of course we had to each get one or the other. We also added the crab cocktail with chips as an additional appetizer. Everything that hit that table was flavorful except the fries. We honestly would have preferred the housemade chips with our main dishes. If the fries were crisper we both agreed it would be spot on. We were too stuffed to even attempt dessert. For cocktail we opted for martinis the first two rounds were passionfruit and the last one was what I am calling apple harvest. An apple cider/apple pie in a glass delicious.”

“Reserved seats for Sunday Jazz brunch. Booth seatings at the upstairs brasserie were nice and had high hopes for relaxed brunch with Jazz. Excellent service by Juan and loved the menu options for classic French brasserie. But what disappointment it was for Sunday jazz..., whole space acoustic was echoey, very noisy, Jazz band was way too loud yet couldnt really hear as all mixed in with noise level in the place. Then this sudden appearance of biniki dancers weaving through tables dancing and climbing up on booths was a totally distasteful arrangement by the restaurant, especially during a Sunday brunch hour! Not sure if this was just for Valentine's weekend but it was an unpleasant attack during our meal. We still managed to enjoy some of the dishes with great service by our server Juan. -French onion soup $17 pricy but is a must try, one of the best we've tried. -pop overs $5 -escargot $21 very little snails and almost no garlic butter flavor.. disappointing. -crap cocktail $24 chives, Dijon vinaigrette, chips. Fresh and tasty, interesting option from raw bar -tuna Nicoise $19 blue fin, salad, egg, mustard & labneh vinaigrette. Loved the dressing -croque monsieur $19 bechamel, gruyere. Perfect! What an experience!”
