“BEST nigiri restaurant in Boston. Every time I come, it somehow keeps getting better. My sister ordered the US Wagyu Roast Beef Maki and the Spicy Tuna Maki, both were excellent, beautifully balanced and full of flavor. I stuck with what I always get, Bosso’s Omakase Nigiri, which is consistently flawless and the reason I keep coming back. We finished with the hojicha mochi and the soy sauce ice cream, both outstanding and the perfect ending to the meal. Juan Camilo hosted our table and was absolutely fantastic, attentive, warm, and made the entire experience feel effortless. Truly a top-tier experience every single time.”
“Best meal my girlfriend and I have had in a long time. The owner was our server and he was extremely kind & thoughtful with our whole experience! We were greeted with a complementary matcha green tea (the good stuff) while we looked over the menu and was topped off throughout the night. We proceeded to take all of his recommendations for a tasting of his favorite dishes! Fantastic night, amazing atmosphere, fairly priced, & authentic as it gets. Thank you!!”
“I had stopped by this place during the winter for my first dinner of my Boston trip. There was a wait but they urged us to stay inside since it was so cold outside. The service was amazing, attentive while still respectful to our space and comfort. The lighting was quite dim and created a fancy moody atmosphere. But the food was nothing too special. Curry Udon: Just udon with some curry sauce, the texture was quite nice though but not very filling or nutritious. I ordered chicken karaage on the side. (Which was my favourite). Tomato Ramen: It tastes like spaghetti but… asianised? I went into this thinking it was going to be like a hotpot tomato flavor but instead it just tasted very italian to me.”
“This is an elevated sushi place, for folks who will appreciate the golden leaf on the sushi roll. As always, my review is benchmarked on the value for $ ratio and the overall experience when it comes to serving a diverse set of needs. And this is where there is room for improvement: The meat options were ok, but vegetarian options were limited, only one vegan roll, that had no vegetables on it that I could tell. The kids menu wasn’t a hit with my kid who eats everything under the sun (potato salad at a sushi restaurant?) Sake was good. The menus could also be easier to read (like a symbol by vegetarian options). Overall, the price was too high given the limited offering for vegetarians and kids. But if you are into elevated sushi…this might be for you!”
“I ordered the AYCE option at this restaurant and tried almost everything on the menu that was included without extra charges. The variety felt limited considering the cost of the AYCE sushi. The environment and service were good, but the quality of the fish could be better for the price.”
