“This had quickly become our favorite date night spot in town. The decor is very tasteful with a combination of modern but classy. Which provides a comfortable, upscale feeling. You can either go dressed up or business casual for this location. The staff is knowledgeable on the menu & doesn't just regurgitate a script but provide actual advice through experience. The service is quick but with quality. The food is 5 star worthy and phenomenal for a small city especially the steak. The drinks are tasteful and fun. Please don't be afraid to try new things on the food and drink menu. They will surprise you with what they can do with flavors. The prices are fair for town. But when you compare the price for the flavor and service you get, its a steal. I highly recommend.”

“Visiting Brownsville for work, I came across this place when looking for a place to celebrate my wife’s birthday, who was flying in so we could celebrate together. I can’t praise this entire establishment enough. There was not a single bite that wasn’t absolutely decadent. Everything about this place was memorable; the food, the drinks, and such an amazing staff! When they realized we weren’t locals, they went out of their way to provide recommendations of some of their personal favorite spots that we should check out while in town. Loved this place and will definitely be coming back before it’s time to travel back home for good!”

“I had a wonderful experience at Le Reve. It was an amazing night, everyone was so attentive and the food was delicious. I traveled from McAllen to Brownsville to have dinner and I will be coming back! They also had coquito as a holiday drink and me being Puertorrican I had to give it a try. The coquito was AMAZING!!! I also had the off menu item of lobster, it pulled apart so easily. I will be dreaming about my experience till I get to come back. This restaurant is perfect to have date nights, anniversaries or if you just want to treat yourself to delicious food.”

“I wish I could give more than five stars for each of these categories! When my friends and I walked in the door, we had an "out-of-Valley experience." From the beautiful ambiance to the exquisite flavors of every dish we tried, Le Reve was a huge hit. It is easy to see why Executive Chef Eugenio Uribe is a 2025 James Beard Award Semifinalist! I also can't say enough about our server, Erica. She knew every detail about every dish, had that perfect balance of being attentive to our needs while not being at all annoying, and was truly delightful. This is truly a Brownsville gem!”

“An absolutely wonderful experience for a girls night dinner from start to finish! The menu is so well rounded and thoughtfully curated, and every dish felt classic yet modern and fresh. The wine and cocktail list is excellent and perfectly complements the food. The ambiance captures that authentic Parisian chic vibe without sacrificing one bit of our warm and welcoming south Texas style. The staff was incredible — friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Every detail made the evening feel special. This place is truly a gem and one I’ll keep coming back to.”
