“We had a private dinner in the wine cellar for our group. Everything far exceeded our expectations. The prepared 7 course menu was absolutely outstanding. Our group was so happy to have opted for the wine pairing, as the wines selected were phenomenal, serendipitously included some of our favorites, and perfectly complimented each course. We are a group of food and wine lovers and our dinner at Harwigs was without question one of our top dining experiences! We'd consider coming back to Steamboat just to do it again!”
“I really loved Harwigs. I felt the waiter was in particular excellent (tall guy. I think he had a pony tail). The duck wasn't on the menu but he said he'd see if they'd make it. The chef made me a duck breast dish that I thought was incredible (and I really love duck). The waiter impressed me a few other times - remarkable service. The venue has nice dim lighting in the dining room. My friend got the lamb burger and french onion soup and loved them as well. Overall, I was really impresed - strongly suggest you go and ask for the duck.”

“Harwigs is our favorite Steamboat restaurant. Their food is terrific, especially the duck, which is perfectly done and beautifully presented. Martinis are excellent as well as generous (you get the entire shaker, not just what fits in the glass). Clientele is made up of both locals and visitors (like us). Our only complaint is that our favorite chicken liver mousse is no longer on the menu!”
