“It was my first time fine dining and it was amazing! We came to this restaurant to celebrate the end of my semester at my university and we were blown away by the food, customer service, and atmosphere! Remi made great suggestions. I’m not an expert in fine dining but everything he suggested complimented the next dish we ordered. All the dishes were cohesive and the flavors never clashed one another. That’s an experience that I’ve never had and I left the restaurant feeling very impressed. Glad that we picked the right place for my first fine dining experience! I look forward to coming again! Thank you Remi!”
“Went to Sottise downtown for an anniversary dinner the other day and had a great experience! This restaurant is small and perfect for an intimate dinner meal. The servers were great and helped suggest a few of their favorite dishes. We loved the Pistachio Pasta dish, the pasta was tossed in a delicious basil pesto and topped with pistachios which added great texture and flavor. I also loved the tuna crudo. I am not typically a capers fan but they paired perfectly with the tuna & shallots, this is a must-order! Everything else was great, especially the baked Brie which we ate before getting a picture.”
“My boyfriend & I came here for our one year anniversary, and it was a lovely experience! The meals were delicious & the atmosphere was upscale casual which I love. We sat on the patio & it was very pretty. We really enjoyed our experience!”
“Took my wife here last night after a LONG week of work apart & honestly it’s beautiful place. The wrap around porch is amazing! We got to sit in the back corner very cute and intimate. We both had a cocktail and my wife enjoyed hers my cognac was a bit too sweet. The two servers we interacted with were cuties. We got recommendations and I highly enjoyed my dish (Le grande loup de mer) where my wife got the ribeye and it was not great. There was so much pepper it wasn’t enjoyable. Not for $140 ….! Being foodies we like to support local and had been wanting to try this place for quite a while. The atmosphere is on point but the prices are a bit high & I do not recommend the steak. Thank you for beautiful night otherwise.”
“I ordered the duck and my friend ordered the pesto pasta. Both very good dishes. I tried the chicken liver mousse. It was a bit too salty. We ordered the baked Brie. It was three stuffed baguettes. Small portions. The duck tasted very good. Just enough to fill me without stuffing me. If I eat too much it really uncomfortable. In this case we give Sottise 3.5 out of 5 stars. Staff are great, atmosphere has character, food is excellent, and cozy. The music is too loud and the lighting is too dark.”
