American Flatbread Burlington Hearth is a Pizza restaurant in the Downtown neighborhood of Burlington.
“Excellent food, spacious but still cozy, and fantastic, friendly service. The pizza (flatbread) with the maple sausage was especially phenomenal (we got a half and half, both were delicious!) and definitely ask for some of the homemade ranch. If you get the "a lot" size, you'll have some to take home - it's some of the best ranch I've had. Their homemade hot sauce is also worth a try! I'm still thinking about their food and wish there was one closer to where we live.”
“We had a fantastic lunch here while In Burlington. Our server, Shavonne went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She was kind and helpful. We ordered the lunch specials and we were not disappointed. The salads were crisp and refreshing. Our pizzas were flavorful and creative especially the carrot pizza! Very happy we checked out American Flatbread and would return in the future.”
“We stopped in on our visit to Burlington over Thanksgiving week. The hostess immediately seated us and our server took our drink orders. Both of the house beers we ordered were excellent. They had a great variety to choose from as well. We ordered a half and half pizza: the cheese and herb and the medicine wheel. Both were fantastic; it was hard to pick a favorite. Overall the atmosphere was great, the service was great and we really loved the pizza. We will definitely stop in again when we were in Burlington. Keep up the great work!”
“American Flatbread & Mothership Brewery is a great spot if you're looking for good pizza, good drinks, and a fun atmosphere in Burlington. The pizza is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients, great crust, and plenty of options whether you're keeping it simple or trying something more creative. It's the kind of pizza that's easy to share with a table but also easy to accidentally eat more of than you planned. The brewery side adds a lot to the experience as well. Whether you're stopping in for a beer, dinner, or both, the atmosphere feels lively, welcoming, and relaxed. There's always a good energy without feeling overwhelming. One thing I really enjoy is that the space feels unique. It has character, feels local, and stands out from a typical pizza restaurant. It's a great place to meet friends, grab a casual dinner, or spend an evening in Burlington. Overall, American Flatbread & Mothership Brewery offers great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.”
“We had a disappointing experience at American Flatbread. Service was very slow, and we waited a long time at the front while the hostess was on an extended phone call with no one else stepping in, even as a line formed. The menu felt limited for a pizza place. No classic Caesar salad (only a kale option), no breadsticks or similar appetizers, and a coconut curry soup of the day that didn’t really fit the vibe. We ended up skipping appetizers because nothing appealed. The pizza was just okay. The crust was very tough, and there are no white or cream sauce options, only tomato-based. We ordered a half-and-half pizza (1/2 custom and 1/2 “Power to the People” buffalo chicken), but both sides were quite dry due to not having sauce. We tried ranch for dipping, but it was extremely dill-heavy and we couldn’t continue eating it, even as Midwesterners who usually love ranch on anything and everything. Overall, it fell short in both service and food.”
