“This place is an absolute HIT. A short 15 minute walk from the touristy area and you are there. The pizzas here are essentially individual, but very filling. The sourdough crusts are chewy yet delicate with the perfect amount of char. I highly recommend adding the "sweet hot" option. I've been to quite a few restaurants, but whatever they are doing to train and manage people here is working. Everyone was amazingly accommodating and nice, even after I apologetically squeezed in without a reservation - and they made it work! You MUST go if you're in Knoxville. You'll love it.”

“This places atmosphere is amazing, not too loud, not too quiet, the service here is also great! we came in with no reservation with 9 people and we understood if it would not work but they kept trying and made it work with no complications, also they were so nice about it the whole time! for starters we got little bites of sour dough with pesto and fresh mozzarella, the sourdough looked different than it tasted, but i must say it tasted better than it looked! (not saying it looked bad, it was just so good), i got the margarita pizza with “sweet hot” (hot honey). ill tell you the crust was the best part. like compared to any other pizza crust it was nice and doughy and the perfect texture. it was honestly the perfect amount of spicy but the margarita itself it amazing!”

“I was in Knoxville on a business trip and decided to find a great pizza restaurant for a dinner out with coworkers. The photos and reviews led me to pick A Dopo and I was not disappointed. The Ovoline appetizer was great as was the house-made gelato. I'm normally a red sauce pizza fan but our server suggested I try the Pizzicletta and wow, what a great suggestion. We all agreed the food and craft beers we ordered were excellent. It was a great experience overall and this restaurant is now on my must do list for future Knoxville visits.”

“The sourdough was it. Weirdly the appetizer bread was the most impressive. Soft and gewey on the inside - perfect and unique. The pizza bread was good but hard to tell it was sourdough and the char made flavors muted so hard to tell. Needless to say this upper scale pizza place is a must try. Unique flavors and more authentic than anything a chain could provide. (Pro tip, ask for a side of marinara to dip your crust in - a bit dry without it). Wines are Chianti or Chianti (j/k) - no Rose or White Zin here... Gelato was really good too. Try it, you'll probably like it.”
