“meatballs and gnocchi tasted delicious, not too salty and just tasted like home-made, sauce wasnt too 'heavy'. pizza was great as well. service was great given they were busy. pricy spot. decor was romantic/intimate with dim lighting.”

At Il Forno, you’ll find some of the best, most authentic Italian food in Nashville. Freshly made pizza and pasta dough made in-house daily truly make a difference and set them apart from the typical chain “Italian American” restaurant experience. After my first visit, I knew it’d be a regular date-night spot. The owners really care about the quality of their customers experience and take pride in their culture and their work. I’m excited to explore more of the menu with time and try everything I can!”

“Meatballs were ok. Husband said they seemed grainy. Sauce was very good. Pizza was watery. Maybe it was from the mushrooms. Could be it was too authentic for our taste. We noticed fresh Parmesan being put on other people’s pizza but did not get put on ours for some reason. We had high hopes for this place, but have definitely found other options that are much superior.”
