“Had a wonderful experience at Delaney Oyster House. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the cocktails were great, and the service was top-notch. I preferred the Steamboat oysters over Bay stones because I love salty and meatier oysters. Definitely one of my favorite dining experiences in Charleston!”

“My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Delaney Oyster House this evening and it was a TREAT! This house-turned-restaurant is full of old Charleston charm and the food and service are remarkable. Upon being seated there was a table next to us that was enjoying their evening but their conversation was a bit too loud for us, and our hostess was super accommodating and relocated us to a quieter spot without hesitation. Our server Bradley made us feel welcome and made some recommendations on the menu that we appreciated. We started with cocktails, perfectly made and presented, and tried the spicy tuna tartar and roasted oysters for apps. Amazing! Then we split our entrees and had another drink while we enjoyed the ambiance and conversation with Bradley. Perfect evening… we will be back!”

“Absolutely amazing experience at Delaney Oyster House! From the moment we sat down, Ben made us feel so welcome - he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. The food was just as impressive. The shrimp was incredibly fresh, and the crab rice (their signature dish) was hands down one of the best dishes I’ve had in Charleston. Every bite was perfect. Everything from the service to the food made this such a memorable experience. I can’t wait to come back!”

“Had an amazing dinner at Delaney Oyster House! The service was top-notch—everyone was super friendly, welcoming, and really knowledgeable about the menu, which made the whole experience even better. We started with oysters, and they were incredibly fresh and well-shucked. I also tried the new celery & pear soup and was blown away. It had a perfectly balanced, creamy texture with a soft aroma and the gentle sweetness of pear that made this seasonal dish truly unique. The lobster roll was not only delicious, but it had way bigger chunks of lobster than other places I’ve been to locally. You could really taste the quality and freshness. Overall, great atmosphere, excellent service, and standout dishes. Can’t wait to come back!”

“Delaney Oyster House is a cute and intimate restaurant on Calhoun. I stopped in for an appetizer of mixed oysters. Bar seating is limited to six stools and two tables. Oysters were fresh and presentation included tags of the variety. I will definitely to return to get a meal in the future.”
