“My wife and I had a lovely experience at Kultura last night! Our waiter was warm and welcoming. She continued to be delightful even as the night got busier. We started out with 4 appetizers: the Lumpia, Kinilaw, Pugita, and Hipon. All delicious. Chef Nikko has a masterful touch with sauces. Every element of each appetizer was elevated by their accompanying sauces. We then shared a main, the Grilled Salmon Fillet Curry. The fish was cooked perfectly, tender and delicately flaky. And like the other dishes we had, it was elevated by the delicious sauce, a creamy, well-balanced coconut curry. This sauce was my personal favorite - I loved mixing it with accompanying white rice topped with a piece of salmon... a perfect bite! Lastly, we got the Halo Halo for dessert. Chef Nikko explained to us how to enjoy this popular Filipino dessert. We poured the ube milk over the shaved ice and mixed it with the rest of the ingredients. A real treat to end the night! Thanks to the whole staff who made our night so enjoyable.”

“10/10!!! Absolutely BEAUTIFUL stunning place, amazing ambiance, and every single piece of food was so good and made with such care. Same with the drinks. Absolutely in love with this place. Service was great too, extremely friendly and attentive staff! Wish I took pics of the beautiful food but was too busy enjoying. Kinilaw was incredible. Also got the porridge, lumpia, and salmon curry. And 3 drinks between the two of us. All AMAZING. Pictured drink is the Holy City Salawat which was delightful.”

“One of the best dining experiences had here in Charleston. Thank you Chef Nikko for bringing such elevated Phillipino cuisine to the city. The lumpias and the curry fish are must trys. The scallops are also divine and you gotta wrap up the meal with thr dessert trio. Can't wait to be back!”

“Was a nice, cozy spot. Service was great. Food was decent but I didn't taste much Filipino flavors at all--even the sisig just tasted like a normal French-style braise. The pancit was a bit too overpowering with the calamansi, the ribs were very salty. I loved the crudo. The duck adobo over mash just tasted like....duck over mash. One of my friends said it almost just tasted like a traditional thanksgiving bite. I sent a pic of the sisig to my Filipino friends and they just laughed. 6/10, very great vibe and ambience and service. Food was just okay.”

“The food, atmosphere, and overall quality were worth the price. However, the service could be improved, as it took quite a long time to get water refills and to find our server. The food took a really long time, but it was delicious. I’m planning to come back again next week and hope I’ll be able to change my rating to 5 stars then.”
