What made my experience even more memorable was the fact that chef Chris was very friendly and chatted with all the guests throughout the dinner (my fellow diners were also fun and lively.) For a 15+1 pieces omakase, it's well worth the price. Minor critique: in the first few pieces, my sushi rice was a little on the mushier side but it improved the second half of the dinner.”

“$60/person for omakase which is available on fridays -sundays. SO WORTH IT. Its not just good food but also an experience. I genuinely felt like i went on trip! They are really skilled with their preparation skill and each piece was so different and made very well in terms of rice:sushi ratio. We also got the drunken whale sake ($34). The chefs are so humble and have great personalities. Very easy to talk to and you can tell that they love what they do. They prepared our food and explained each dish to us. It was intimate as only 7 people were seated for omakase. Hands down - best sushi in charleston.”
