“We were very last minute deciding on dinner so reservations were out of the question at 9pm. Hotel concierge suggested this restaurant. Excellent service and the food was delicious. i didn’t care for the dry rub that I chose on the sirloin but that’s on me. Food was fast despite the crowd, steaks perfectly cooked, and the sides were also delicious. If you have turned into a midlife procrastinator like us, this is a great option. (The burgers being delivered to other tables looked AMAZING!)”

“TBonz is one of those places that knows exactly what it is—and does it well. Started with the loaded potato wedges. Big cuts, plenty of cheese and bacon, and a solid side of ranch. Simple, but done right. The fried shrimp were the highlight—crispy, not greasy, and cooked perfectly. Fries were hot, slaw was fresh and gave a nice balance to everything. Nothing fancy here, just good, honest food in a comfortable spot. Service and atmosphere fit the vibe. If you’re in Charleston and want a reliable, no-nonsense meal, this place is worth the stop.”

“On Sunday, Dec. 28, 6pm. they were pretty busy. We were able to be seated with no reservation. Waitresses came by, they were out of special but we were happy with what we ordered. Food came fast, even before done with salad.”

“I stumbled upon this place because I was really hungry. They have 5 dollars old fashioned. The shrimp plate was good. The meatloaf needed a little more flavor. I enjoyed the keylime pie. The have a Kaminskey Bar side also. I did expect more seafood options.”

“It was just ok. The shrimp and grits were very very good. They would be worth the stop if you like shrimp and grits.”
