“Uptown social is the perfect place to get social uptown. My wife and I are celebrated her promotion in Charleston and boy oh boy did we enjoy.. in nights out, uptown is the real McCoy . Greeted with sweet southern smiles, a blonde who goes by the name Katie took us old northern red cardinals under her all-knowing southern gull wing. I myself, an IPA indulger, asked for a recommendation(shhh I’m a novice drinker and that’s a good thing.), Katie was quick to offer recommendations for both me and my lady. We ordered one strawberry fields and a tropicalia. The Beatles were right when they sang strawberry fields forevvvverrr, because I could sip on that forever! Divine. Next we munched on the pretzel bites and Mac and cheese bites. And for our main, we did the hot honey pizza that our waitress recommended. Delicious and delightful. No crumbs left. A sweet spicy kick, but not overpowering. Pinch me, I think I was genuinely *in heaven*. Next time we find ourself in the historic city of Charleston we will be back for delicious drinks, darling service, and delightful bites!”

“We met up with some friends for lunch at Uptown Social while visiting Charleston in early March. We had their burger special with a beer and it was great. We almost couldn’t believe the price. Such a great deal! Food was fresh and serving size was perfect. Our server was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Great vibe, but service needs backup!” Uptown Social has a fun, high-energy atmosphere that makes it a solid choice if you’re looking to hang out and soak in the Charleston nightlife. The music was upbeat, the crowd was lively, and the space had that casual party vibe that’s perfect for a weekend out. That said, service was really slow when we went—only one server seemed to be covering the whole floor, which definitely affected wait times. Didn’t try the drinks this time, but the menu looked good and reasonably priced for the area. Still giving it 4 stars because the overall vibe and ambiance delivered. Just hope they have more staff next time—this place deserves smoother service to match its scene.”

“Had a new waiter apparently but he was friendly and was trying. Mis-ordered my drink...was a whiskey sour not a whiskey mule...but I like Buffalo Trace so...I drank it. Ordered Caesar Salad w/ chicken. That was good and tasty. Wife got a salad also and a beer. That was all good also. Atmosphere was great and no band on a Monday night so we could relax and talk. I WOULD recommend even if waiter seemed new... He was pleasant and he did come by the table plenty of times to make sure we were doing well. He did offer to comp but we said it was fine. It was.”

“Drinks are priced as expected for this area, however, if you dance and stand away from frim your drink, the barback would swoop in and grab your drink, even if its only half drunk. Happened to me 3 times in one night, and the "door manager" offered to give me a free drink?!?!. I was done with the night and tried to talk to the "door manager" and when i suggested that their barbacks make rational decisions about the drinks they pick up, it got nowhere. When i tried to suggest they try and teach the employees to better pick EMPTY cups instead of half empty cups, the local cops at the door told me to leave. They know what they're doing and they wont correct this action, making people buy more drinks.”
