“I had a terrific dinner on the patio. I had ordered the roasted whole duck with my reservation. The white asparagus martini was amazing with the Sopprefoueta. I enjoyed the foie gras crème brûlée with a coffee.”
“I love a good burger and the Duck Inn definitely knows how to make a good burger. We had the duck wings as a starter. I was hesitant but they were so tasty and tender. Oh and the sauce, just so good. Onto the burger - amazing. It is like an elevated Big Mac because of the sauce, and so worth it. The meat is juicy and the burger is made for a perfect bite each time. The bartender was very kind and attentive. Great service, phenomenal bites, and it’s on the southwest side!”
“If you love Duck, this cool elevated bar is the place for you. The Duck Inn gets its name from the menu, because Duck is King here! From the Duck sausage to Duck fat fries, Duck wings to the amazing whole Duck experience. It is all so delicious. The bar is also on point, from old style beers on tap to creative cocktails, there’s something to fit all tastes. So make a reservation and visit this neighborhood gem located in Chicago’s south side Bridgeport neighborhood. it’s definitely a fun time with good vibes.”
“A Southside delight! My wife and I decided to drop in a on a Sunday after church, and we were happy we stop! We had a delightful time listening to vinyl albums from the '50s and '60s (compliments to the DJ) taking in the ambiance and appreciating the extremely attentive service. We really enjoyed the mid-day brunch. We could tell the kitchen's use of high quality and fresh foods. Everything was cooked to perfection. There were couple of items that my wife and I both said,"We will definitely come back to that..." Over all great experience! If you're out in the area, make plans to stop! A definite Bridgeport culinary destination!”
“Came here for Chicago Restaurant Week 2026 and honestly the $60 dinner is a great deal! Portions were generous and everything felt thoughtfully done. The vibe inside is dark, moody, and the staff is super friendly! For restaurant week we started with the umami beet tartare which surprised me because it’s a cold dish with unique flavors. The second dish was the wild mushroom and creamy toasted barley was rich, comforting, and full of flavor. If you like risotto types of food you’ll like this dish. The third dish was absolutely the star of the night - the confit duck 🦆 - wow SO good! Perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily the best dish on the menu. Finished with the bananas foster baked Alaska, which was a fun and delicious ending. They were very accommodating with my food allergies, which I really appreciated. I also tried the brussels sprouts and loved them, and my friend got the duck wings and couldn’t stop talking about how good they were. For the price, the portions, and the quality, this is absolutely worth trying!”
