¡Bienvenidos a nuestra casa! Meso Maya provides a culinary adventure into the fresh, earthy and bold flavors that are the heart and soul of Mayan and Mexican cuisine.
“Meso Maya is hands down my favorite latin cuisine in the DFW. No competition! The Arrachera is soo delicious and I’ve ordered it the last 5x I’ve been here. The sopa de lima tastes as good as it did in Mérida, MX and their beet salad is a delicious starter big enough to split between 3 adults. Also love their corn tamales. The service is also outstanding! We are always greeted and seated swiftly and alllll of the staff are incredibly welcoming and kind. We come here at least once a month and will probably continue to do so as long as we’re in the area.”
“Delicious carne asada, carnitas tacos, black beans & rice, corn tamal, chips & salsa. All was excellent. Service was very friendly and attentive. Great experience.”

“We had Daniel G, he was great! The restaurant was very clean and the food was amazing. The patio area is so nice! I got the steak and subbed out the tamal for elote and it was SO GOOD. the steak was cooked perfectly and you really didn't even need a knife. I loved the queso and guacamole as well. We are excited to come back to try the desserts, I saw a few come out if the kitchen and they looked delicious.”
“My first time at Meso Maya was honestly such a great experience. Immediately walking in, I was greeted and sat by the hostess, which I really appreciated, especially since it was like 1 PM on a Sunday. It just felt welcoming off rip. The ambiance is super calm with dim lighting, giving that relaxed but still upscale vibe. I also liked that you can see directly into the kitchen while you’re dining, it just adds to the whole experience and makes everything feel more put together. Our waiter Israel came and introduced himself, and even gave us some background on the food and what inspires the recipes, which I thought was a nice touch. Throughout the time we were there, I noticed the manager, Ruben, constantly moving around , checking on guests, cleaning tables, just really being hands-on. You can tell the staff works well together and the place runs like a well-oiled machine. For drinks, I tried the De La Casa and the La Morita. The La Morita (which Izzy recommended) was a 10/10. It was fruity, fresh, and the presentation was really cute. The De La Casa was also good, it’s one of those where you know there’s tequila in it, but you can’t really taste it like that. We ended up ordering more, so that should tell you enough. For our entrees, we got the mole con pollo (Oaxaca) and the huevos borrachos with chorizo. The mole con pollo was like a 7/10 for me. The mole itself was super rich, flavorful, and had the perfect amount of spice, but the chicken was just a little tough. Still good overall though. Now the huevos borrachos? 9/10 easy. Fresh, full of flavor, and a lot of food. Definitely a must-try if you like a more savory brunch. They also have live music on Sundays from 5–8 PM, which I’ll probably come back for. The total came out to a little over $100 for two entrees and four drinks, which wasn’t bad at all for the experience. Overall, I’d definitely go back”
