“I am so impressed with this place! The staff are very friendly and helpful and the rooms were extremely clean. We used the valet and their service was also great. I LOVED their gym because I was able to keep up my routine while traveling. I will definitely stay here again.”
“Outstanding stay. Samantha was the perfect personality to encounter after a 14 hour drive at the front desk. She gave me detailed parking instructions, beverage and dining options, and made us feel very special on the first night of our Honeymoon road trip. Let me also say that the hotel and rooms feel like you should be paying a lot more for the quality that they give. Thanks to the staff and facilities, this is absolutely our El Paso home for future trips. Outstanding.”
“The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park in El Paso is a standout historic property! A beautifully restored Art Deco architecture blended seamlessly with top-tier hospitality in the heart of downtown. From the moment we arrived, the staff delivered exceptional, warm service through check-in, our stay, and checkout. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with luxurious touches like plush bedding. Dining was a real treat: the on-site restaurant served delicious, high-quality meals with great atmosphere; though if you prefer milder flavors, a few more "gringo-style" less-spicy options on the menu would be welcome for some tastes. One notable downside for EV drivers like us: no on-site electric vehicle charging stations. We ended up spending extra time at a nearby Super Walmart charger instead of unwinding at the hotel, which was a bit inconvenient on a longer trip. Overall, this is a luxurious and memorable stay. A highly recommended for anyone seeking elegance, history, and excellent service in El Paso. Just plan ahead if you're driving electric!”
“The hotel and rooms are beautiful. I got a sweet on the 14th floor and dont do that. I can here everyone walking around and talking on the street from the 14th floor. Not to mention if there is a car that drives by that makes ANY noise youll here it. Talked to a few of the other people this morning and they said they where leaving because of the noise too. Oh FYI breakfast is not included buffet or ordering. But other then that great history hotel to stay at. If It wasn't for the noise this would be a great hotell to stay at just not 1411. Unless youre going to party until you pas out then by Al means get it.”
“We were excited to stay at the Plaza Hotel for 2 nights. However, we were shocked to find out that our reservation was canceled before we arrived. With no email or phone call ahead of time, we were stranded at the airport ahead of a very busy weekend. Due to a large concert in town, there was barely any availability across town, so we ended up having to pay more than double of what we would’ve paid at another hotel. When asked why our reservation was canceled, we were told that it was due to no card being on file. However, after checking our reservation again, we had put a card on file at the time of booking. Either way, this could have easily been figured out with a quick call or email ahead of time. We booked our room months before, knowing that hotel rates would spike due to the large demand this weekend. It makes you wonder if the Plaza was looking for a reason to cancel our rate, and be able to re-list it at a higher price point. This was supposed to be a fun weekend, but started off a nightmare, due to the lack of communication and predatory practices of this hotel. There are plenty of other hotels in town, and I would recommend booking with a hotel that treats their customers with more consideration and respect. Edit: Our reservation has since been marked as a no-show. This is incorrect, as we were told by the hotel that it had been cancelled. Had our hotel been marked as cancelled prior to arrival, instead of waiting and marking it as a no-show after the fact, I am sure we would’ve been notified prior to arrival.”
