“Antonio provides excellent table side service. T'ähä food is fresh, flavorful and authentic. Try the Birra”
“Antonio was delightful and so accommodating and the food was to die for! Will be back, can’t wait. We used to get oysters here years ago, happy they kept oysters on their menu with the new restaurant!”
“This is a nice upscale Mexican restaurant. It does get busy most times, make sure you get a reservation for a smooth seatting. The bar has an extensive list of liqour, wine and beer for any taste. There is a valet available and seating outside.”
“I took a chance and ordered the "fresh" oysters even though the bar tender tried to push me towards the Oysters Rockefeller instead. This was my first indicator of questionable oysters, but I ordered the classic oysters anyway. Fishiest smelling oysters I've ever come across. Taha is more of an upscale place so I thought I'd take the chance. Luckily there are places in town with safe, reliable, oysters. Tacos were solid and drinks were good.”
“We had a disappointing experience at Taha Mexican Restaurant on the Plaza. When we arrived right at opening (11am), we asked for a table for two and were immediately told there was nothing available—even though the dining room was completely empty and we were the first guests there. After the host “checked,” he suddenly found a table and seated us, but his attitude felt dismissive and unwelcoming from the start. We began with chips and salsa, which were actually very good. We also ordered two café de olla lattes along with chilaquiles and the chorizo Benedict. Our drinks never arrived, and when our food was brought out, our server Santiago noticed and went to check. I asked him to cancel one latte and just bring the other, but it still took another 10 minutes to arrive. When it finally did, the cup was chipped, making it unsafe to drink from. The food itself was underwhelming—the eggs on the Benedict were overcooked instead of runny as they should be. On top of that, Santiago only checked on us once, and that was just to drop off the check. Overall, the service felt inattentive and the experience didn’t match expectations. We left unsatisfied and likely won’t be returning.”
