“All I can say is WOW. It is rare that I can go somewhere and can't find anything to even nitpick. Everything about this experience was fantastic. I took my family to celebrate the end of the school year and every dish was better than the last. We had the cheese enchiladas with mole. Super flavorful and not too spicy. The chile rellenos had a nice coating with another wonderful sauce. Best yet, they were gluten free so my wife and son could enjoy it which is usually not the case. The fish tacos were fried but also gluten free and amazing. Lastly the mushroom dish that was like a quesadilla was so flavorful, I don't remember what it was called. Even the simple things like the rice and beans were some of the best we have ever had. Every dish had garnishes that just worked so well adding acid and freshness to often heavy dishes. The service was fast and consistent. We had our food less than 10 minutes after ordering. The waiters were there refilling our water within moments of running empty. We are absolutely coming back.”
“Amazing food and drinks every time I’ve gone. The mezcal tamarind is my favorite mezcal cocktail, so flavorful. The vegan pescado taco is now my favorite menu item (right after the mezcal tamarind) The vegan and vegetarian options are amazing. So often those options are an after thought on a menu, but here, those dishes are their own unique creations, making them very special options. Paired with super friendly staff and an amazing display of art, I’d recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for tasty, high end and flavorful Mexican food.”
“Excellent elevated Mexican food. The entrées were served hot, and the staff was incredibly prompt and professional. Don't miss the churro sundae— simple but delicious.”
“The food was phenomenal. We ordered the ceviche and corn for appetizers. Flautas and sandwich not sure what it was called. Such depth and bold flavors. The ambiance was vibrant, inviting, and beautiful. The reason for not having 5 stars. After dinner was finished we waited for the waitress to return and ask if we wanted to order dessert. Unfortunately didn't happen. I waited to see how long it would take. After 30 minutes I just decided to get the check instead. You might be thinking maybe they were busy. It was not, there were only 2 other tables there. Just ruined the experience.”
“This place was a huge bummer. Pretty tired of places using the term “street food” as hype and then giving smaller portions with still cheap ingredients with less flavor. That was the deal here, it was $40 total. All that got me was a small entree that had .99 cent bagged lettuce on top, almost no seasoning and was super dry. Had to drown it in hot sauce. I got beans and rice too, the beans at least were flavorful but the rice was literally mushy overcooked cheap white rice. The horchata was $6, for a pretty small glass. Go almost anywhere on Clark street and pay less than half the price for 2x the food and flavor and a gigantic horchata there is like $3. Will never go back to this spot for sure. But hey I am a vegetarian, so maybe if you eat meat this place is bomb. Atmosphere is unique, service was fast and friendly.”
