Craftsman Wood Grille & Tap House is an American restaurant in the Fayetteville neighborhood of Fayetteville.
“How is it that I’ve lived in Fayetteville for over 30 years and I haven’t made The Craftsman Inn my “go to” place for dinner? What an experience we had on a rainy night….first being greeted by a friendly hostess who suggested we might actually enjoy sitting outside on the comfortable, dry, warm patio during a late afternoon thunderstorm (she was right!). Every single person we encountered was truly committed to enhancing our dining experience. Our server, Russ, was exceptional (he is exactly who you want looking out for you during a meal out). The menu was outstanding, the food was fantastic, the portion sizes were incredible, and the prices were so reasonable (considering today’s economy). Both managers (Garret and Trevor) stopped over to either help clear the table or to inquire about our meals (how refreshing!). The entire restaurant just throws off a cool, genuinely friendly vibe that is so often lacking in restaurants these days. But you have to credit the entire team who works there…and that starts with the Management team. So hats off to everyone who made our dining experience at The Craftsman Inn so wonderful! Keep up the good work!!”
“Took my hunny here for his birthday dinner last night and couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. We had a 9pm reservation last night and were seated as soon as we arrived by a host who recognized the birthday and seemed so delighted to have us☺️ Our server came over quickly and got us started with appetizers and drinks. My husband got the wedge salad and said it was the best one he’s ever had. I got the craftsman’s old fashioned that was made perfectly 👌🏽 He got the grilled salmon and it was so good it looked like he licked the plate clean😂 I got a hot honey pepperoni pizza and it was SO GOOD! & they brought out a HBD dessert as well that topped our night off.The staff were SO FRIENDLY, the restaurant is deff aesthetically pleasing with dim lights and fire places throughout. I would definitely recommend trying them out!!!”
“This place is awesome! From the moment I walked in, I could smell the wood fire burning, which is a unique touch. The service was top-notch from beginning to end. The owner even stopped by our table and thanked us for stopping in. The whole staff was very attentive, especially our server Danielle. So the food…everything was so tasty and perfectly done. The crispy cauliflower is a must-try. If you love wedge salads, this is the place for you cuz it was one of the best I’ve ever had. The fish was huge and cooked perfectly, and the burger had that classic dressed burger with a little bit of char taste. The sides were very good too. As good as everything was, it would’ve been even better if I didn’t go with my freeloading narc ex.”
“We dined here and then came back twice to have drinks by their gorgeous fire pit. They have a great beer selection, wine selection, and cocktails were good. The food was best we found in the area. The burger was great. The truffle fries were very good. My son got a steak which was very good. The Cobb salad was just ok. The hot honey pepperoni pizza was very good. The bacon flight was just ok but something I’d say you have to try as it’s a novel concept. Bacon seasoned three different ways and served with nice soaked slices. Pictures of the fire pit. Sorry I didn’t take photos of the food!”
“We have wanted to try this place for so long as we have always heard great things. Being that we just moved to the Fayetteville area we decided to give it a go. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant is great.. but the food and service were not worth what you pay and I no longer understand the hype. Our server was friendly but very inattentive (forgot our beer we ordered, never stopped over to check if we needed anything more and made sure to charge us for the more expensive side when we ordered an extra side when the flight came with 2). The food itself was the biggest disappointment. The crab cake shareable was okay. We ordered the steak flight and an extra side. To start, the steaks were TINY. The filet and mashed potatoes were cold making them not enjoyable at all.. but staff never came back around for us to ask if they could take back to heat up. The brussel sprouts were fried BLACK where half of them were just inedible crisps. We ordered the lava cake for dessert which wasn’t bad. I was really hoping to like this place now that it is local to us but not sure I would suggest to anyone. You truly could get better steak at Texas Roadhouse for 1/3 the cost”
