Saffire is a Southern restaurant in the Franklin neighborhood of Franklin.
“I’ve never had a bad meal here. Wait staff, and manager, were very engaging and in tune with our needs. Since they are in The Factory, you also get to enjoy the whole historic vibe as part of the atmosphere. Bonus points for wood mantle behind bar which is from the UK and is around 300 years old. Biscuits were 🔥!”
“We had a fantastic & delicious anniversary dinner at Saffire earlier this month. We spontaneously decided to switch our dinner plans last minute to Saffire about hearing rave reviews about it from the bartenders at the Factory. Saffire did not disappoint! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were top notch and our service was truly one of a kind. Brett (the manager on at the time?) came by to congratulate us and give us some recommendations. Our server (wish I could remember her name) was also incredibly friendly, gave great recommendations, and provided great service. When we find ourselves back in Nashville, Saffire will be on our list of places to go back to!”
“The food was so great. From the steak biscuit and gumbo appetizer to the main dishes of chicken, meatloaf, shrimp & grits and cobbler. Everything had a uniqueness to it and was so flavorful. Often as you go through a meal dishes can start tasting not as amazing but we wanted to lick the bowls all the way to the last bite. The service was the best I’ve had in years. Very attentive and kind. We were blown away. We’ll definitely be back.”
“Dined for lunch at Saffire and enjoyed it very much. Great food, service and atmosphere. Had the grilled chicken sandwich with bacon and relish- awesome! Added a beet salad- also great! Excellent service, very friendly staff. The incredible antique bar was certainly a focal point! Beautiful! Will definitely dine again while in Franklin!”
“The Legendary and Not So Legendary My wife and I stopped here for lunch. She ordered the Saffire Burger and I had the Legendary Chicken Fried Chicken. The restaurant is in a renovated warehouse so the interior of the restaurant has this same theme and is very comfortable. Our server was exceptionally nice and when the food arrived it was plated beautifully. The burger was cooked perfectly and the fries were exceptionally good. For the chicken, I had them place the country ham gravy on the side because I wanted to first taste the chicken without it. The chicken and coating were cooked perfectly but the flavor of the coating had spices I don't usually associate with fried chicken, so the crust was not my favorite. The collards, however, were some of the best I have ever eaten. The white cheddar-n-mac, in the bottom of the bowl, had a very thin cheese sauce and little flavor. I'm thinking this is because the collards were layered above it so they thinned the cheese sauce. The dish looked beautiful but suffered from the layering I believe. For some reason it took a bit too long to get our food but the blonde server with the 1000-megawatt smile who refilled our glasses helped make the time pass. Overall a very nice lunch.”
