“For sure best bar in Gainesville. Since you’re paying a premium cover rate at the door the crowd is typically better and chiller than other mid town bars. Feels like an after party where you’ll run into many familiar faces/friends. Drink are decently priced. I would recommend going to cantina on either Wednesday, Friday or Saturday.”

“By far the WORST mexican restaurant in Gainesville. The food was very very bland, got the birria tacos and all I could taste was burnt meat. Got a side of rice and beans for my kids and the rice was overcooked and mushy but still managed to have some uncooked grains. Basically unedible and flavorless. I truly cannot comprehend how that was allowed out of the kitchen. The beans had more onions and broth than beans and the tub was filled less than half way. Which for the price that is absolutely outrageous. Also got the “chicken fajitas” and I’m pretty sure they gave me pulled pork instead and the veggies were completely raw.”
