“My wife and I went last night and sat at the bar. Austin was amazing. The food was incredible. We live in Asheville but we'll definitely be coming down every couple of months just to eat at the Anchorage. The food was so good we did the entire tasting menu, no notes”

“Wow! Just wow. I celebrated my birthday yesterday with an incredible meal here. First off, Mills and Austin are delightful. Their knowledge and creativity were impressive. They crafted super tasty cocktails. and explained all the ingredients they were using, really fascinating. Experiences like this is why my husband and I always love sitting upstairs at the bar. Austin suggested we try the table tasting and Man I am glad we listened. Everything blew me away. Unique dishes with such rich flavors. You can really taste the freshness and care that goes into everything. It comes through in the beautiful presentation. Our one hesitation for doing the tasting table was that I do not eat pork but they were so accommodating and were able to substitute with a delicious mushroom lentil cake. It was such a fun and truly special treat. Thank you all for making it a very special birthday.”

“I came with a party of 6 so you have to do the tasting menu. Overall very good plates, and a decent amount of food. Some of the dishes were extremely smoky and not as flavorful but overall a nice meal. I would recommend for a special occasion”

“We had the chef's tasting menu with wine pairing. I would highly recommend it! Some dishes were absolutely amazing, and some just didn't hit their mark as well, but we enjoyed all of it. We especially enjoyed the wines and the sommalier! He gave such good descriptions of all of our food and wine and he did an excellent job pairing everything. I do look forward to returning here again.”

“The tasting menu is everything you see on the menu. It's really fun for the indecisive. They portion it pretty well so you can eat everything and still be full. All of the salads are amazing. I think the only misses are the Spaghetti Carbonara and the Seared Black Cod. The "Doublecream" Arancini was phenomenal. The bourbon liver mousse was astounding. The hamachi tiradito was great. The Braised Chatel Farms Beef Shortribs are fork tender. All of the desserts were really sweet. I didn't like any of them, far too indulgent. The service was great. We got low on water in the end. The restaurant is a bit cramped but there's seating all around.”
