“Our party for our mother's 101 birthday there was spectacular. The entire staff made her feel special. The male manager checked in with us & made sure everything was perfect for her. Great personal care taken. Every wish was granted. The food was delicious and atmosphere was pure devine. The building is historic, upscale, & elegant. Definitely will be dining there again, again, and again...”

“Really excellent traditional continental American cuisine. We went for lunch, it is definitely a spot where some of the older crowd all get together which was wonderful to see. We got crab cakes which were cooked and seared, moist and flaky and flavorful without being too rich. Pork chops were very thin but cooked perfectly with a nice sauce. The whipped potatoes were exactly as they should be. Atmosphere is definitely very traditional, at little stuffy. Service was exceptional.”

We went there for my sister's wedding taste testing meal and it went so smooth. The food was amazing and perfectly cooked. The wait staff was constantly making sure we had what we needed. It was a very nice evening there.”

“A lovely place for elegance and a fine meal. Certainly worth the experience. In the holiday season, it is beautifully lit with Christmas lights all around, which makes for an incredible sight on 202. Now, on to the food and service. Our server, Erin, was delightful. She made sure that our water glasses were never empty and checked on us periodically to ensure that things were going well at our table. The hostesses were kind and present. We were seated almost right away for our reservation. The food was great. I really enjoyed the escargots, and the bacon-wrapped shrimp in the sampler. None of us were too crazy about the lobster bisque, but, on the upside, it did have true pieces of lobster in it. All in all, if you are celebrating something momentous, or even if you're just in the mood for a night of elegance, The William Penn Inn will certainly deliver what you're looking for. Enjoy!”
